That place at which he wrestled with the angel was his " in between". He was in between what has been ( in Laban's household) and what shall happen ( when he meets Esau) and the angel met him there- that in-between place.
I'm a woman writing under my husband's name. I lost him six months ago to covid. A friend shared this song with me today and it blessed me so much. I'm in a season now where my grief has lessened but I'm not sure what God has in store for the rest of my life. This song speaks right to me heart and has encouraged me to keep trusting God to help me through this season of my life and that he has better things in store for me.

YOU SAW them living with the guilt of committing crimes to the heart. YOU SAW them enduring personal crisis. YOU SAW the weight of the burden on their hearts with each tribulation. YOU SAW them seeking comfort from the above mentioned topography, ONE OF THE MANY MARVELS YOUR PERFECT HANDS HAVE MADE. 👏👏👏 YOU SAW their worries about tomorrow. Facing a stage 4 cancer in my family I have felt overwhelmed... by the unknown of "time ". I have been one of her biggest fans since I was a small child. From my early years in foster homes to adulthood she was always a constant. When ever I stray from God it literally takes only one of her songs, her voice to help keep me spiritualy in check. One of my biggest dreams is to sing with her... amazing lady of God. I can't wait to introduce a legend to my kids tomorrow.
I remember her saying back in the ‘80s that her mother tried to teach her to play the piano, but she couldn’t learn and she could only sing. She must have learned sometime since then.

I had not heard this song before, but I truly can relate. When “life” continues to happen and you feel buried, you sometimes feel that you’re alone and disconnected…….even from God. But you’re not! He’s still right there! In the highs you feel so close to Him. You can just feel the showers of blessings! In the lows you’re there, and you know He’s there, and you know that this too shall pass. But its that in between time when you get hit continuously and you wonder why? And where is He? And then you feel His presence when you stop focusing on what’s happening and turn you gaze upon Him! God is with us always……..even in the In between moments!
My mother stepped into Heaven July 15th of 2020 . My dad joined her July 27th of 2021 . I moved in with them and took care of them until they passed. It's been a rough year .
This group of women have endured deaths, divorces, breast cancer and so very much remains untold. Everything is not all it will be. God holds us safely in His arms from what will be-and what has been as well as in the in-between. The days ahead if we are paying attention that Christ is coming soon when our futures are to be our lives with our faithful friend.

I have been one of her biggest fans since I was a small child. From my early years in foster homes to adulthood she was always a constant. When ever I stray from God it literally takes only one of her songs, her voice to help keep me spiritualy in check. One of my biggest dreams is to sing with her... amazing lady of God. I can't wait to introduce a legend to my kids tomorrow.
I remember her saying back in the ‘80s that her mother tried to teach her to play the piano, but she couldn’t learn and she could only sing. She must have learned sometime since then.

She became a long hard heroin addict but is saved now with a daughter and loving Jesus so much more each day!!!!! Praise our blessed Father. Also, once upon a time I sang just like you. Truth. a singing teacher jumped up so fast and ran over to me, held my face and said just that, well...that was then, this in now. The fields of green belonged to someone else. I had not heard this song before, but I truly can relate. When “life” continues to happen and you feel buried, you sometimes feel that you’re alone and disconnected…….even from God. But you’re not! He’s still right there! In the highs you feel so close to Him. You can just feel the showers of blessings! In the lows you’re there, and you know He’s there, and you know that this too shall pass. But its that in between time when you get hit continuously and you wonder why? And where is He? And then you feel His presence when you stop focusing on what’s happening and turn you gaze upon Him! God holds us safely in His arms from what will be-and what has been as well as in the in-between. The days ahead if we are paying attention that Christ is coming soon when our futures are to be our lives with our faithful friend.
