It doesn't take much on such thin pages and woops there it goes. I tried an idea from one youtuber that said stroking the crinkles with a bone folder will fix it... NOPE. That is an absolute failure. I was concerned about the thin paper and if it would scorch or fade ink.
I have a few bibles that have these kinds of problems. Sir I see that these kind of problems seem to get on your nerves and you want your Bible to be in excellent condition with no crinkles are wrinkles and you're not alone because even I feel the same way you probably do about that but I'm learning not to pay attention to that and just focused on reading and studying the word of God and I also have found that if you mess with a paper you might make it worse for instance I found some small stains on one of my Bible paper and I had to take a towel and use a little water and just rub across the page to wipe the staind off the page and it caused a slight crinkly I was wondering is there any other technique that can be used than the one that you showed in this video
That’s a hard question. When it comes to more premium material it would be the Thomas Nelson. But the quality work with quality material would be the CBP.
@@faithtowalkministries132 yeah I kinda get that impression. I love the TN goatskin and art gilding but I feel like the CBP is just the most quality sturdy tool at an affordable price. The price is so good I almost just want to forever buy CBP and support their ministry. Maybe in a year I’ll buy the full yap water buffalo. Tbh I am having some troubles with the KJV in terms of studying (love it for preaching and reading) so my next investment may have to be a premium ESV from crossway to have as my study tool. Good question. Crinkle pages are notorious for finding the weakest part of the page and repeating the crinkle. Therefore if you just run it alone the length of the crinkle a lot of times a new crinkle will start right next to it.
Would there be a reason for not using an iron with lower heat setting?
