Monique didn't just lash out of nowhere! She was being plotted against FOR MONTHS! Before they shot any scenes for this season, the mean girls were plotting to get a fake rumor on the show because all 3 had ZERO story lines on the show! I am not sure if you're just ignorant of the situation or didn't see the ENDLESS interviews Monique and Candiace had to clear up the story! They tried a fake story line, it hurt Monique badly and Monique took it out on the one who threw stones and hid her hands! The main culprit was Gizelle though!
It worked because that statement Ash made for Monique helped. Regardless of who was wrong it comes down to who talks behind your back less and Candy talks about EVERYONE behind their back which is WHY I have no sympathy for her whatsoever! Plus her neighbour on IG, 2🚦 years ago revealed the fight was staged and planned because production knew they disliked the other so it was an easy ratings GOLD storyline. ‼️✨
I like how Ashley told her then walked off unbothered.

Monique flicks with Candice’s hair ( because her hand was in Monique’s face) so she tosses a wine glass in her face. So technically, it does count as self defense, Monique got an injury to her lip which could’ve been way worse. But not only that, Candice basically provoked Monique and of course she’s not going to just let that slide.
Well Wendy said it best Candace has a temperament that cause people to their hands on her. Long story short ... she’s provoking. 😂

Unpopular Opinion: Wendy was kind of right about the snake shit going down. Sorry that she doesn't resonate well with the audience but it is what it is. And by the way, full disclosure, I do take more of Karen's perspective on all of this in that they were both very wrong in how they conducted themselves. As others have mentioned, it would have been cleaner if Ashley had just written a supportive character assessment of Monique; Ashley knew what she was doing.

The issue is Candice and Ashley made up but the moment the fight happened she acted like they didn't make up and Candice didn't apologize. Ashley did a complete 180 and started to pick sides even tho she didn't see anything happen

I understand that Candice's pride led her to file the case against Monique because she felt humiliated in front of the whole world, but she's acting like a victim and she's not. Sending a mother to jail because she laid her hands on you after you begged her to do so says a lot about Candice's morals. Ashley did nothing wrong. Whether she was there or not. Monique asked her because she trusts that she'll help her unlike the rest of them.
Let’s set this straight! What Monique did was 100000% wrong, however! For Candiace to say “for a person who can’t handle my mouth”, Gurl….. Karen has told you at Wendy’s event about your mouth! and the other ladies that went you get set off you can’t SHUT THE FUCK UP! and I’m not saying that she’s the only one doing that. Still, Candiace was literally poking the bear last year when she said, “drag me, Monique,” and for their friendship to go spiral like that, what did Candiace expect? I get that she got traumatised for what had happened to her, but the gurl needs to think about the trash mouth of hers since it’s happening again with Mia and Ashley in the current season. Candiace is the victim of what happened, but you cannot turn or convince Karen to pick your side. The therapist really needs to tell her off.

Ashley is the most fake out of all the Potomac housewives. She says things in a gentle voice and a smile on her face but it’s usually bad stuff. In the new series where she pulls Wendy aside to break the news that her and Gizelle have seen blogs about Wendy’s husband cheating, that was foul. She’s always in the mix of stirring up drama but pretending it’s with good intentions..sneaky character like Tamra from real housewives of Orange County.
