The action for reloading that rifle needs some serious work. As a sniper I would be replacing that mechanism next time out. It's noisy as hell, and you can tell it jambs up with every reload. Mauser actions are substantially smoother and a whole lot more accurate. I have one made in 1918 , re-purposed in 1939 for WWII and it still punch's 3" groups at 700 yds.
