The Alef Masters is a 4-player round robin event happening in Sharjah, UAE. Nihal Sarin from India, Salem Saleh from UAE, Yu Yangyi from China and Sanan Sjugirov from Hungary are the players. The tournament is double round robin in Classical, Double Round Robin in Rapid and Quadruple Round Robin in blitz. In the first classical game, the Indian superstar was up against the local hero Salem Saleh.
