I don't like somethings of Thai but beside that, Thai country is nice country. Btw, Thai have some beautiful natural place & beautiful beach!!!

It is nice to see that Vietnam is modernizing but I do hope it keeps some of it's beautiful heritage image. What I would hope is that they regulate or put in place transportation guidelines in order prevent accidents.

Being more developed has nothing to do with how well a city is planned. Saigon's layout is better planned.
Well the poverty rate of Vietnam is going down compare to decades ago.
vietnamemperor123461 it's even lower than Thailand's and within a generation Vietnam will be a more developed country than Thailand. Thailand just has all the wrong knobs turned at the moment and likely in the medium term. It has lots of political and social unrest and its economy isn't doing too well. Vietnam is also a more competitive market nowadays.

does the modernization includes anti-flood system project like Tokyo have? otherwise whatever u build will be covered with water and mud like you have seen in recent weeks. I wonder if the new airport will be built on higher grounds? in any case an airport that size must have an exceptional anti-flood systems especially in vietnam where it rains bucket load in seconds.
