Tanjiro gets to have a surrogate older brother, Gyuu gets to have someone who neither insults or thinks poorly of him and someone he can focus on protecting, and Nezuko gets to see two people she cares about be happy and support each other. It's a win-win-win for the primary trauma trio!

Idk because when the final selection happened the monster explained how after sabito died makomo lost control of her emotions leading to her death so I have know idea if sabito knew makomo

Giyuus past is so twisted like he lose his parents when he was 1-2 and later on he lose his sister and so he tried explaining that demons killed his sister than after that he was labelled mentally ill and then he ran on a mountain and almost die but fortunately urokodaki saved him and then started training him along side with sabito who became good friends with him but also died in final selection and the reason is sabito was protecting him and others and the bad thing is that all happened when he was 13 and then he became a hashira but he thought he was not worthy of being one but despite being so strong and he started saying "im different from you guys" and other hashiras thought he was saying im better but he was not he was just misunderstood😢
