Very catchy BIS
The mesh regulates the Predators' body temperature, Bestinslot. Their homeworld, Yautja Prime is comprised of thick jungles with a very hot and humid environment, so without the mesh, it would be almost a death sentence for them if their body temperature went to far below what they can survive in. Thus why you always see them with their mesh covering. Sorry for being 3 years late, but i hope it helped. ;)
This game was actually good. The freedom and playstyles they gave you for the predator was really fun and immersive. Being able to disengage and jump around at any moment was refreshing .
The Predalien was actually brilliant. Can't wait for the Xenomorph :S
It's a Predalien you're fighting in the end BiS. Praetorians are elite Xenomorphs and guard the Queen or Empress. One Praetorian can evolve into a Queen if the current Queen killed.

Does anyone else get annoyed or disheartened when he doesn't follow the onscreen prompts or use finisher moves? I love BIS content, but he ain't much of a effective or versatile predator
I mean..I can understand not doing it all the time but when it's on your damn screen and it's the last guy there is no reason not to
Cl4ymist3r I don't use the finishers except harvesting bcs it takes too long and wastes time especially when you are sneaking you want to get out of sight quickly

They wear mesh to keep warm, it is connected to their power packs (like plasmacaster) that allows it to generate heat. I'm guessing their homeworld is a lot hotter than some of the other places they travel to.
I personally love the Alien campaign. I thought it was the best and most interesting of the three honestly. The gameplay mechanics are something worth experiencing in my opinion.
But there something about alien sussy thing look at alien i look like c!ck
"They've got metal all over their body, why?" Why? WHY?! Because the Predator constantly hunts acid-blood aliens and heavily armed humans! Of course they need armor! (Sorry, I'm a huge Predator fan, and I get a bit over the top at people asking odd questions. (I don't know why they wear the mesh, though. They're probably just kinky.)
PotatoKawaii Gamer the mesh probably allows for easier movement, allowing them to move faster then if they wore armor there instead.
The reason why they wear the mesh is due to the pheromones the extinguish from their bodies due to the dogs in the pre-orders only being able to smell it and the reason why is to release it is due to being it very bad smelling.
The mess is actually thermo insulation, it regulates body temperature. Depending on the clan/tribe it can function differently. Example the hunters in the AVP movie is from a climate that can get cold & the thermal netting keeps their bodies warmer in the arctic climate. It's sort of like a whole body electric sock.

Mesh isnt something that should be automatically classified as fetish... its just a type of clothing style. Usually goth or skater.

About the "mesh" I always thought those were special wires which help with projecting the cloaking field
Apparently the "fetish mesh top thing" is a thermal net. Basic principle being like that wire grid in the rear window of your car.

Bestinslot, the final boss was a Predalien. And in the Alien campaign you'll find out how it came to be. I know it sounds like spoilers but it really isn't since the Alien campaign is the only one left to play.

The mesh they wear has wires running through it, i believe, so they can wear minimal armor and still have the cloak effect their entire body. Also, humans call the crossbreed "PredAlien" and the yautja refer to them as "Abominations."
The fishnet is part of their cloaking

My guess is the mesh is worn just incase the tech camo fails and they can attach foliage or whatever for camouflage?
3 years too late but the netting is actually a functional part of their tech. It's a whole body hearing system for colder climates. Some Clans like the ones in AVP cone from colder climates & this body mesh warms their body in cold conditions. I'm not sure if it's ever explicitly stated in the lore but I imagine it could also act as a cooling system as well. As for cloaking the wrist gauntlet is in control of that in conjunction with the bio mask. With all the tech seemingly tied into the Yautja brainwave patterns. This is how the plasma caster & smart disc work based on the linked tracking system. But the wrist gauntlet is the primary control to all the tech. Hence why the bracer (gauntlet) was so important. And the prevention of the tech falling into the wrong hands us usually handled by an elite Yautja, who take on the messy or dangerous missions. Such as Wolf in AVPR. Long and short if it, the mesh is just another functional piece of pred tech, most of they equipment has a function in lore. It's just not really addressed in game.

2 make sure the enemies don't see u or the target
3 sneak up on the target aka the Android and human
4 grab them by pressing x u will see what happens to the advanced Android
