I like this one. I hope it doesn't die out. Some of the postures remind me of Xin Yi or Xing Yi, so I wonder if there is some ancient connection there, or if it's just because it's a spear style.
Some people claimed that it was propably the stuff Ji Longfeng learned. But there seems no record pointing to that. The Wang Bao Teacher in Germany practices Che Pai Xing Yi alongside the Wang Bao Spear. A few years back there was a teacher I think he was from New Zealand he taught Xinyi Liuhe alongside the Wang Bao Spear.
@@BeifengDaoren Interesting. There are several styles that have Liu He in the name, so that's not really a clue, but that village is in Henan, and that's an important place in Martial history.
Yes, the originators of Xinyiquan as well as Taijiquan were all Wangbao practitioners. If you have a little bit of training in it, you can see how they transferred the winding of the spear as well as the dantian motion into their empty hand styles from there.
In Germany its Dietmar Stubenbaum he sits in Saarbrücken. He teaches mainly Small Frame Chen Style Taiji and to some Che Style Xing Yi and Wang Bao Speat as well.. I knew that some years ago a Stephan Yan taught Xinyi Liuhe and Wang Bao Spear but dont know where he is and if he is still teaching..
@@BeifengDaorenDietmar Stubenbaum (my teacher) is not in Saarbrücken, but in Friedrichshafen. He just gives seminars in Saarbrücken, because one of his students is there.
