D'CAFE | Ep 5: "SWIPING AWAY"

Welcome to D'CAFE, a six-part UA-cam sitcom where caffeine meets chaos in the heart of London. This isn’t your average café-run by the hilariously unpredictable Arnold, this quirky coffee shop is a hotbed for mayhem, misunderstandings, and a cast of characters who couldn't be more different… but somehow, they make it work. Sort of.
Meet the team:
Arnold - The loveable, if slightly delusional, owner of D'CAFE. Arnold’s passion for coffee is matched only by his passion for outlandish ideas, from hosting “underwater espresso nights” to his attempts at “coffee-fueled meditation.” He’s the kind of boss who truly believes anything is possible-except for maybe running a café without total chaos.
Peter - The long-suffering manager who tries to keep everything from falling apart. Peter’s dry wit and unflappable demeanor make him the glue that holds D'CAFE together… even though Arnold’s crazy ideas test his patience daily. His dream is simple: run a café without a disaster. But is that too much to ask?
Jermaine - The barista with big dreams and an even bigger ego. Jerome’s latte art is next-level, but his obsession with perfection often leads to him ignoring basic orders in favor of creating "masterpieces." He’s a self-proclaimed coffee philosopher, constantly lost in deep thoughts about the meaning of a perfect brew… much to Peter’s dismay when orders back up.
Camilla - The dishwasher with zero interest in the café drama. Camilla may not be front and center, but her sarcastic comments and deadpan humor are the real backbone of D'CAFE. She knows exactly what’s wrong with everything-she just doesn’t care enough to fix it. But when things go wrong (as they always do), Camilla’s sharp wit and brutal honesty are the only things that keep everyone from losing their minds.
*Hilary - The eager, accident-prone waiter who’s always trying to do his best… but somehow makes everything worse. Whether he’s spilling drinks on customers, misinterpreting orders, or delivering completely the wrong thing with a smile, Hilary’s enthusiasm can’t save him from his own clumsiness. But he means well, and that counts for something, right?
In each episode, D'CAFE faces a new, often absurd, crisis-whether it’s Arnold’s latest “great idea” that derails the café’s entire operation, a strange customer demand, or a complete breakdown in communication between the team. Despite all odds, the team works together (or rather, stumbles through) to keep the café open, served with plenty of laughs, awkward moments, and some heartwarming surprises.
Will Arnold’s latest wacky scheme lead to success or disaster? Can Peter survive the endless chaos with his sanity intact? Will Jermaine ever stop philosophizing long enough to actually make coffee? And can Hilary finally serve a table without causing a scene?
