The oven clip can be positioned better: Hang the clip from the oven rack like a 'V'. Place it in a gap of the rack, each side of the 'V' suspended from each of the adjacent horizontal bars/runners that form the gap.
Had to watch this video to see what the silver rack clip function was....FYI- The instruction booklet says nothing about the clip - that I could see. Did I miss something in the booklet?
Yes, odd that they don't mention anything in the instructions about the use of the clips. I have the model with four probes and it came with two clips. Even the replacement (spare) parts description on Amazon doesn't make mention of how to use them. ThermoPro should probably do a video just on how to use and position probes.
Business opportunity! Nice. Love that roast. Can't wait for Paide or Sergei to put it in the Hub so you can talk to ThermPro and set time, chicken, don't forget to clear first. Hub replies - done!
helpful. thanks. I bought this online and lost the manual...........getting ready to grill a 12 pound turkey on my Kamado Joe....this will help cook it to perfection.
Well, that's not really clear. Does the timer time the meat once it has reached temperature (which would be great) or when you set it? Need more info about ambient temperature setting. Do you have to use both probes?
Can I still have the alarm set if I am in the User Defined Temperature setting mode? The alarm set button, instead of turning the alarm on, is just raising my set temperature instead.
Can I use this thermometer, in a double boiler, where one needle is in a pot with oil and the other is in a pot with water, to measure the temperature up to 75oC? I just bought it for this kind of use and I am afraid that I bought the wrong device. Thank you in advance!
The meat selector doesn't seem to work for Probe 1...this is frustrating...the only thing that blinks is the icon on the far right which looks like a wheel.
Maybe I don't know what I'm doing but this thing's alarm kept coming on every 20 or 30 minutes so annoying I couldn't get it to stop no matter what I did. Not only that the probes broke after the brisket was done
Good job! For a typical man that DOSENT like to read the instructions...this was a great start
I cried looking at the instructions then remembered...UA-cam!!! Thank you!
Me too! Lol
lol, same
I can’t wait to use this thermometer . 😍
Thanks for the video I would not have nown what the oven clip was for as it is ot mentioned in the manual.

Me, too! Why doesn’t the booklet say SOMETHING about that clip?
The clip is to keep the probe from being near the grill/oven grate. You bend them accordingly to fit between the grates and stand up.

why not just take the wet bulb temperature on the surface of the meat? the dry bulb temp is kinda useless for serious cooking
Can it be used for deep frying
Can you only use one probe
This tutorial was very helpful!
I cannot get either probe 1 or 2 to toggle to presets. After I press the Meat /St/Sp, the gear flashes but will not toggle to any of the icons.
Did you ever get a reply? I'm having the same issue
Nope.@@crestbackyardhomessandiego7833
Is this pretty accurate? I noticed that some of these newer wireless "Chef IQ" devices aren't very accurate.
Thank you for the info on this item greatly appreciated

Yes, you will receive when it goes down as well.
I have one and it does not alert when it's coming down
@@TheBadass117 After that, I bought one, and in my experience the alert just come in BBQ mode…

Thank you so much for the video , it was very helpful 👍
Is there a way to calibrate this unit? Mine is off
Can you use this probe to cook a Turkey?
Hi, a question: can the wire stay inside the BBQ during cooking or is there a risk of it melting?
Please read the manual before using such products. The probe wires can withstand heat up to 380 C.
Rare beef is 145F?
Can it be attached (with magnets) to the Weber Original Kettle charcoal grill lid? Doesn’t break due to high temperature?
We recommend not attaching to the lid.
Does it matter if probe sits on oven shelf, I cannot figure out how to use clips supplied trued various combinations. Thanks

Here's your manual: buythermopro.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Thermopro-EN-DE-FR-IT-ES-TP-17-instruction-manual-20180111.pdf
Can you use it on a charcoal grill?
Yes but the magnets will melt if the pitt is to hott...so keep it off the pitt...the probes will be fine

Nice meme, doge.
Warum bekomme ich die nicht auf Deutsch?
Can you make the light stay on?
No, if you were to forget to turn off the light, this would cause the batteries to die extremely quickly.
No
@@ThermoPro thank you. It’s good to know that.
My Thermopro wont connect to my phone. Where is the bluetooth button?

Why do your Probes Suck. I'm on my 3rd set. Tired of spending money on junk that doesn't last.
