All the content creators bash the game, then when it’s patched they celebrate, 2 days later the game needs to be saved. I’m confused

The patch was a good patch. Doesn’t mean the game is good now tho. Saving means retaining player count…if they don’t make the changes I said it will always be barely anyone on

Character banned is absolutely a terrible idea because what's the purpose of Paying for character dlc or having 200. + Characters to choose If the roster is limited on rank.

You can use the characters in normal gameplay, but not in ranked if they get banned. Winning with the best character(s) in a mode with people working HARD for points is completely dishonest
Why am I going to use my favorite character(Yamcha) if I constantly run into MUI Goku, Beast Gohan, Fusions, etc? It's torture at that point. Why should the majority have to sacrifice just because YOU people want to be carried by the absolute strongest?

You also have to understand there's a diverse ,outstanding fan base . the majority are casual players playing rank . Therefore, a character banned would be unfair for casual more than regular players on rank.
To be honest , The community doesn't give a shit about playing with integrity . They rank up and that's it .

Also I found it hilarious that individuals who are already on top tier rank suggest a character banned . To say , "dishonest" is a manipulation tactic . You know damn well a character banned will prohibit freedom of choice on rank.

The devs implemented DP points for each character for a reason. Dp is to build a team from the strongest to weakest for rank . Most importantly, after you achieved z rank , what else to do ?
Like why control , what you can't control ? Sparking Zero has flaws similar to any other fighting game . Content creators or regular players need to get over it .
The issue are a battle between casual vs regular players.
It’s called dragon ball sparking zero for a reason because popular characters have instant sparking and unblock-able spam ki blast supers and ultimates in sparking mode and zero bc of zero customization

I agree with just about everything you said, the biggest one for me though is feeling mislead about the customization. There's no reason you shouldnt be able to swap some skills around. Majin Vegeta is probably my favorite Vegeta but the fact that his only ult essentially kills him made me drop him quick. I dont rely on ults but i dont want to be punished for using him in like a dp battle setting. I also feel like being able to swap the skill dock abilities could make alot more characters viable that currently aren't and allow people to use characters they genuinely like in the series. Idk I fr think we're still on the beta. Game came out unfinished.

A very easy fix for unbalanced BS is a DP controlled ranked system for singles. Lets say you’re playing a 4 DP character and you only want to play against 3-7 DP characters. That should absolutely be an option
I'll cut the devs some slack on cosmetics and maps right now because this game was so clearly rushed out to be available before Christmas, and they're so preoccupied now actively fixing the bugs and balance and all that shit that really matters. And I'm straight FEINDING for more cosmetics. I need melee Trunks with just the beater and no jacket like Sword Trunks so bad. Or even just a Halo for Super Perfect Cell. Real simple things. I'll be patient so long as they're still working on fixing the rest of the nonsense in this game.
Make the offline mode better. Give us more to do instead of going online to play against broken mechanics.

The only argument against that is if you want to play with an advantage over someone else, can’t really see any other reason why someone would hate the idea.
Honestly what would save this game for me is if all characters had the same amount of health in ranked. At least we would see more variety in online matches. Also Idk who started the punch vanish trend but it's gotten out of hand lol

Think they did a pretty good job with this patch. Saying the game needs saving is a bit of a stretch. Especially after watching the vid and it's about small stuff like costumes, accessories, modes, and something big like stages. I agree with wanting all these things. But saying all that will "save" the game I do not agree with

People in these commemnts saying small additions wouldn't save the game are missing the point. Maybe costumes and maps wouldn't 'save the game' but a lack of those things IS helping to kill the game.

DLC that would bring the game back to life atleast for another 6 months.
- Diama DLC (Kid Vegeta with ssj and ssj3 forms) , Tamagami Giants, Ssj form for kid Goku, Kid piccolo
- Add bojack movie characters and clothes: teen Gohan with orange Gi, Trunks long hair with sleeveless jacket/sword (it doesn’t even have to be a whole new character they can just make it like an additional skin for swords trunks) , Bojack henchman
- more maps ; Korin tower/look out , The tournament arena from the bojack movie , a snow map (it could be anywhere just add snow glasiers and mountains. As a matter fact the map where Vegeta fought broly super) and they should implement maps that effect the players. Like an outer space map where you slowly loose health because they can not breath in space (except for kid buu and Frieza) or a gravity room / Beerus planet that makes you move like 10% slower because of the gravity change)
- super saiyan Broly from the Broly 2nd coming movie. I always liked that Super saiyan Design over that weird electric blue super saiyan look they gave him in the first movie.
- GT Vegeta (give us base GT vegeta and then you transform into ss4 Vegeta
And Give us more accessories. Like Don said there’s like 10 slots for accessories and half the characters in the game don’t even have accessories to equip. And the ones who do, only have one or two options. A scouter , a halo, or power pole. We should have way more options like potara earrings, sayain armor , Saiyan Tail etc. like how fun and weird would it be to play at Piccolo wearing Saiyan Armor, or Beast Gohan with a Potara earring. I feel like that would make up for the developers not giving us the option to have different color ways. Atleast you can still make your character look unique in some way
- a pre lobby chat. I’m cool with not being able to talk during the fight, but when your ina quick match they should make it where the loading lobby you can see who your opponent pick and what map your fighting on. And this gives you the option to talk alil trash before the fight. For example if I pick a regular 5dp character and I see that your using ss4 Gogeta I can be like “cmon bro choose somebody else so we can throw hands foreal” ya know shit like that
These are all things that doesn’t drastically change the game but just adds more layers of fun and less repetitive gameplay
And it’s like even if we can’t get outfits yet why can’t we get alt colors it shouldn’t be that hard
Auto dodge should have been a skill that requires 2-3 skill points and last only 3 seconds with the ability to perception it to not get caught by it

In ranked and only available for quick matches/ rooms searches. They should also Nerf perception one more time and make it like bt3 where if you perception u stuck like that for 2 secs. Also beast gohan and jiren etc should not get health back upon transforming in ranked .
Pretty much you want the game to be water down and POINTLESS to play so you can get a dub . What's the point of having 200+ characters if the roster is limited to play. To be honest, this wouldn't work because the majority of gamers will say I paid to play any character I choose .

I am all for customization but I gotta disagree with this. All respect here. Let’s ask each other this have you ever seen another fighting game community give critical feedback for customizations or offline content? Like the core goal of the game is online fighting. They have delivered as advertised and they are trying to do it in a 3D space different from tekken 8,street fighter even MK1. We all have to understand that the above games had recent predecessors and millions of players over the last 10 years while bt3 was out 17 years ago. This is why street fighter 6 is so good coz they have so much data so their fighting experience is balanced in a way. The developers knew this and knew the only way to improve it is after the game released. I honestly think the game is good and I appreciate the work they are putting in these patches. You guys have to understand the details in this game are like no other go to the island map and just watch the grass and tell me they didn’t put the work to that. Trashing on the game and giving feedback is two different things. We gottta be better.

If they had more content in the game it wouldn’t be declining. Everything I said in the video would stop the game from declining and actually make ppl want to play it.
Other fighting games aren’t the same as a dragon ball fighting game. There is a crazy amount of source material straight from the dragon ball anime that IS NOT in the game. It’s in all the other dbz games but for some reason isn’t in this one. Most other fighting games are natural born fighting games…meaning there is no source material to go off of..so it wouldn’t matter as much if they didn’t have clothing or accessories in the game.
Yea BT3 came out years ago but is still a better game than SZ if we are being honest. Most of the cheese on this game wouldn’t be possible on BT3 or RB2.
@ yeah I agree but bt3 isn’t a good comparison as it came out at a time where there was no online fighting experience for 3D games. So lack of player base. The way I look at it is an effort by the devs to make the 3D fighting game a viable fun alternative to the 2d ones we already have with other titles. If bt3 was an online experience I am sure you will find people finding ways to cheese even in bt3. I am sure end of the day we all want to win when fighting online and it’s not like when we fought with friends and laughed about it during bt3.
Like think in Xenoverse they also had a wide variety of characters all with different combo strings end of the day 99 percent of people should use the same broken cacs because that would get them the win. People end of the day want to just win and will do anything to do it. It kinda reminds me of when you say they will sell their mommas soul. Could not relate to that better

The complaints I hear the more I realize this game was made for OG budokai tenkaichi players. My only complaint is the camera and targeting getting fucked yo in the middle of dashes while fighting. I could really care less about outfits lol and for the stages I’m sure they’ll come. This game just came out. All the old BT games were waaaay smaller data wise. And xenoverse is a completely different engine and imo CV is dogshit I’d rather not see a thing come from XV. Dude we’re lucky we even have this game. There’s a reason it’s been 17 years since the last one. It’s a big fuckin game bro. The problem is everyone wanted to bitch about yajorobe on release instead of these issues and yall got what you asked for and you’re still not happy LOL

One of the biggest disappointments for me was the Story Mode/What If Mode. That was something I was really looking forward to and it feels like they just threw that shit together and put it in the game at the last minute.

Missing maps, skins, characters like Android 21/Eis Shenron and how about create your own character. People will go crazy if they bring back Tenkaichi Tag Team
•Make it so that ULTS LOSE 30%OF POWER the more you use them
•add unique meele combos for each character (so each character feels more different)
•Add more combos in general(to diversify meele style)
•Make perception the way it was before. (But charge more ki)
•Add skins and PIKKON with the raging blast 2 combos.
•Add maps
Once I saw the price for the dlc I already knew this game is not gonna last
the game was in a horrible state and I knew that the dlc has to save it so by that logic I assumed they are going to lower the price so more people could come back to this game but they kept it overpriced. Then it's the small changes that are just not enough for this game, their plan is to keep it alive until they finish their next couple of dlcs and then it's lights off for this game. They won't add any free content, they would only go for the remaining dlcs to milk more money because people are still going to buy it and then they'll run off. Can't trust them with anything after October 11th the release of this game was going to be peak but ended up being trash and I can't forgive them for that. F them and their overpriced & contentless dlcs

Ya need to stop trying to use party game as a reason the game can’t be played competitively. For one people get competitive in games like Mario Kart, Smash Bros which is a known party game has had a scene in the FGC for years now. Literally any game can damn near be played competitive especially if it’s based around fighting you will always have people striving to be the best or fight the best and it’s on the games community exactly how far that competitiveness goes and people have found tech, people out there who are better than the average and somebody’s gotta win and somebody’s gotta lose not to mention this is Dragon Ball a competitive scene has always been around and people who can play these games at a high level since the early Budokai games. The advice I have for Super Counter is don’t mash and wait for them to Punch you and Try twice during each combo string.
If it doesn’t work look to vanish the heavy attack.
If you know someone has a rolling hammer. Revenge counter as soon as possible to avoid them taking your back

Make a mod that pre selects the team for you in like a story mode style, but that you dont know which team you get. That would make the game interesting

1.) Fix perception still. Tired of getting perception/ sonic sway when I’m on the side or BEHIND someone
2.) Sonic sway should not take my ki
3.) Get rid of auto dodge or make it a skill that cost or cost ki
4.) Give everyone the same health like FighterZ
5.) Fix the rate of or how much of skill pts gained from taken damage

@ kind of like when you’re fighting and you can switch characters by pressing R3. It’s kind of the same thing you can switch to your partner if they approve it or something and they jump right into the game and fight while you heal up overtime.
nothing wrong with the vanishing after an attack it makes the window for punishing people shorter so you have to be more precise when u commit to an attack. which = higher skill cap

If you’re more of a pvp person, a 2v2 - at most 5v5 would be something.
If you’re more of a pve person, maybe a raid mode with other people, or a survival mode.
I cant fathom the complaints from Sparking Zero in the community .
The problem is content creators , or regular players dictates how the game should be played . Also players spends hours playing just to find another program .
Its a fucking video game and sparking zero has its flaws .

They should make certain characters like ult gohan available through dlc but if you want beast you gota b z rank to unlock or s5 or whatever that would make ppl grind

Putting ranked in this game was the biggest mistake lol if they wanted to do rank they should have at least had a weight class to the game when it comes to singles.
Rank has been in every game since we got online pvp on the PS3 ain’t nothing wrong with having a ranked mode
I won’t lie shit like stages, costumes and colors don’t mean shit if the game is lame. I think they need to focus on addidng fun game modes and refining the gameplay loop. Once the game is in a place where the gameplay is super fun and engaging, they can focus on the cosmetics. Also that new mode is such garbage. I definitely agree with you that we need more modes for co-op and party play

What if they added those things but then they like the dlc is 25? That may be part of it. This was already budgeted with the ultimate edition and they probably couldn’t play catch up cause they didn’t know what people wanted till after the fact.

super counters being mashable made neutral pointless since anybody could get out of a combo in the first 5 hits so if you got the first hit it didnt matter that much. now it takes skill to do it
Everybody is overcomplicating things. There’s only one thing that hinders this game tremendously, & it’s crossplay. If they add that, this game revives itself.

Rush supers only use full Ki if they connect. If you miss it uses less.

the game lacks in content that was promised before drop. customization maps n allat even tho xenoverse 2 and fighterz been out longer sparking zero shouldve had at least 80 percent of what xenoverse offers if not all of it

I’m not gonna lie, I sorta don’t care about outfits, more so cause modders hopped on that shit real quick. Maps, def agree, I’d like maps. I think a character ban system is kinda anti player though, like it’s meant to spite a specific type of person that you assume you’re playing. If you told me I was banned from playing Beast Gohan (who I paid for), in ranked, I’d be PISSED. I think before you suggested having like, even hp in a match, and I think that’s way better. Damage differences can stay, as playing lower dp in singles ranked is a choice you made to show off your skills, and powerful characters still feel powerful. I just want my z burst back.
I honestly never considered these games ‘fighting games’, cause even for bt3, the amount of playable characters was pretty small competitively to my knowledge. Just this patch so far has been pretty nice for me, just hop in some casual quick matches, have some fun, then hop off sort of thing. I’m not saying there isn’t any skill, just I think the balance is hard to manage effectively. You try to add cool lore stuff and it’s either gonna be super lack luster or screw the game in some way.
