Thanks mate 🙂 yeah same here, looking forward to getting onto the beaches and chucking some metals around, just need some settled weather now i reckon 🤞🎣
@@DevonLerfer Love watching your videos buddy. Never ever done any sea fishing. I’m having a trip down to Swanage August bank holiday. So watching your videos and trying to get some ideas is a lot of help. Don’t really know where to start when I get there but I’m sure if I can learn anything from you and how you do it I should be able to catch at least one fish. Very informative as well as you always put a description of what you’ve been using. Looking forward to watching your next video buddy 😀
@@johnloxley8705 thanks mate, really appreciate it! My session at Swanage was focused around the section of the pier where you can fish into the middle, mostly dropshotting. That's where you'll find the baillons wrasse which are a prized catch for us species hunters. Lots of other stuff in there too. On the outside there are quite a few bass plus plenty of other bits and pieces, a little jighead and paddle tail would be worth a go there. Tight lines mate 👍🎣
@@DevonLerfer thank you for the info. I will make a mental note of that. It’s little things like that make a difference. I probably will only get chance for a few hour session as I will be with my partner so obviously as much as I would love to stay there for days on end I think there would be trouble at Mill if I did 🤣🤣.... but much appreciated and thank you so much for taking the time to share the information. Looking forward to your next video 👍🏽🎣😀
@@johnloxley8705 no problem mate, I understand the complexities of juggling fishing and family 😂 swanage pier is actually quite a pleasant place to stop, maybe take a picnic or something to prolong the session a bit 😂 tight lines mate 👍🎣
Thanks for posting yet another great video ... I’m finally getting my twice postponed trip to Padstow in the week after next ... any tips for fishing the harbour there would be greatly received !!! Hoping against hope that I can catch a Gurnard !
Thanks mate, my pleasure 🙂 oh nice, I've only fished padstow once, but dropshotting a piece of large white isome is apparently the killer tactic for getting the gurnard!
Great video rich I'm down Plymouth Saturday hopefully picking up a bike any recommendations for a couple of hours fishing before I head back up to wales😁
Cheers mate. I'd suggest trying Elphinstone mate, plenty of variety there and you can park right next to where you are fishing. You can have a little potter into sutton harbour from there if you wanted to! Osborne and cragg is not far away either and well worth a visit if you've got time 🙂🎣
Hi great video again. Do you keep all your soft worms, gulp, isome in the same tub and what fluid do you use to top up ? I did see before you used the gulp tub. Thanks for a reply Graham
Thanks mate, good question! I did use to be quite strict about keeping gulp and isome separate from each other as I do think they work differently, however space and convenience has meant I've tended to mix them a bit more recently. I use lock and lock tubs usually and buy the ecogearaqua liquid to top them up, search Prime Angling or jonny Lerfer online and you should be able to get hold of some 👍🎣
2:50 what a fish that was! Would kill for a wrasse like that, really enjoyed this video!
Those corkwing are little stunners aren't they?! Thanks mate, cheers for watching 🙂🎣
More HRF videos would be nice as well in the future.
Awesome vid as usual!
I'll make sure of that 🙂🎣 thanks mate, tight lines! 👍🎣
And more podcasts 🙌
Lovely session. I cant wait to fish here again.
Thanks mate. Yeah I really missed it whilst I couldn't get down there, so much variety 👍🎣
Great video again, really hope it won’t be long before the water warms up for some metal action soon.

Cracking. Lovely selection of wrassey goodness here!
Cheers Dom, it's been nice to get back to the wrasse after far too long away from them 😁

Nice video, has been a bit patchy on the breakwater but you seemed to have had a nice few out, the last Ballan was a nice fish.
Thanks mate, its been slow at times but with the odd little flurry of action. Hopefully things will pick up soon! 🤞🎣
