But do remember that if your independent (not a ship excursion) tour happens to have a delay coming back to the ship, like what happened with the hold up. The ship will not know about it and leave you behind. But if you’re booked with the cruise, then the tour operators has communication with the ship and then alerts then of the situation, thus allowing them to wait on you to head back.
💯 Also you know exactly where to go and where to find transpo. On my last port I had to walk 3 times the distance and then ask locals where my tour guides were.

I think you should definitely try Aida and some European river cruises especially during the holidays. I heard Germany and France have interesting and different Christmas traditions/celebrations. Egypt would be cool too. Go everywhere and try everything!

Looks like it's only a tender port for Virgin. I see another cruise ship parked at a dock from the mountain view shot you did.
It’s basically first come first serve on getting a reservation on docking your ship. Carnival probably reserved that spot at the dock years ago. In addition, some ports can’t dock the huge ships, so if you are on one of the monster cruise ships, you can’t got into smaller ports. So sadly, the monster ships usually only go into the big cities on big islands. Thus why I like smaller ships.

I’m a 62 year old woman who would love to go on a cruise by myself what would you recommend. I’m a diamond passenger on Royal Caribbean so this is the cruise line I would like. Any recommendations just would be wonderful so my family will let me go by myself!

Is this a different virgin voyage ship because In a past video, you stated it was the worst cruise you ever took. Just want to make sure we are planning the right cruise.
Virgin is one of my favorite lines. I’ve been on all of their ships and sailed with them on over 10 cruises. I had one bad experience overall which is what you’re referring to but that doesn’t mean I’d never sail with them again.
