the whole 'GROMIIIIT HELP US' sequence whilst the house went absolutely haywire was like watching someone who doesn't typically struggle with sensory issues get sensory overload. hilarious

It was exactly how we were feeling in the stream- we were all sighing in relief at the silence and then Wallace comes in with more screaming. It was agony

The “Shut the Fuck up Wallace” bit was hilarious, but I think the immediate 3 full seconds of silence that take place after it really adds to the whole bit. Like Wallace was too stunned to speak.
in wallace’s defense, his dog just talked to him for the first time, and all he said was for him to shut the fuck up. so. i would also be lost for words i should think

Honestly Mrs. Gabberly is a pretty great member of their town - she's pretty damn nice, understanding, caring, supportive, and shows interest in what the others are doing more often than not. She's also one of the smarter townsfolk

I love how the only swear word not censored as "UA-cam" was at 29:55. It truly adds to the idea that Dan finally had enough of the bickering and snapped.

I have never seen a lick of dialogue from those games except from Max during Poker Night at the Inventory almost a decade ago and i hope so too! This genre of game really gels with Daniel and it is a nice contrast to some of the more "active" games he plays

yes, and they're the official voice of Wallace generally now, I think
RT actually touched on that himself during the stream! And i definitely noticed it, he had that voice down by the final episode. And in a rather short time too, first episode was released March of 2009 and the last one was July 2009
a sliding puzzle where the pieces give you shit every move and the whole thing is narratively pointless has got to be cruel and unusual punishment
That final section had me wheezing, there was absolutely no buffer between the cries for help.
There technically was- all the npc cries were bunched together, then thered be nothing, then all the cries would play right after the other again (in the same order no less)
Sensory overload, GO!
The fact RT left the last curse in lets us know how truly annoyed with wallace he was
I'd make a joke about the game but this game was actually very wholesome and captures the essence of Wallace and Gromit. Your videos have been a joy to watch.
The games literally 4 interactive episodes , and it feels like a perfect wallace and gromit experience
I've played some intense, high-stress games in my day, but trying to solve a complex puzzle with an entire town of Brits screaming at you has to be the worst scenario I've ever heard of.
I love how Dan reacts with genuine outrage to McWhatever hitting Wallace's ball when said ball got there because Gromit *put it in the post* 🤣

It probably says a lot about me that when Gromit learnt that Wallace's fiance was the heir to a fortune, I assumed his goal had shifted to keeping them together so that Wallace would be rich when the aunt died.

I hear there’s going to be a Wallace & Gromit film coming to Netflix in 2024. I doubt they’ll have the characters from this game like Mr. Paneer, Duncan McBiscuit, Major Crum, Ms. Flitt etc. but I think they have more personality than the townspeople from Curse of the Were-Rabbit in 2005. Then again, it’s been a while since I watched that one. Shame that this is the last part of Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures. Thank you for playing these, I think I speak for all of us when I say we’ve all had a great time watching!

I first saw this game a year ago after I remembered it from a trailer I saw on the DVD version of “A Close Shave”, and I’m so glad it’s getting some recognition. The OST is criminally underrated, by the way, and Major Crum’s theme is the best.

He actually did become the official voice actor for Wallace. This series was Ben Whitehead's first time as the character. He learned quick.
