Draymond is one of the most underrated players of all time
He’s only underrated because a massive majority of NBA fans are either stupid, or biased. Even Warriors fans turn against him, and they are immediately exposed, to me… but I realize, I’m the kind of Warriors fan that is going up against a new generation of fans… mainly those that loved Jordan Poole, love Kuminga, loved Wiseman… It’s like, yeah all you young people, you can’t appreciate Draymond, because you were a kid when the Warriors dynasty started, and your understanding of basketball isn’t 1/10 of what Draymond knows, so shut up Draymond haters.
People's perception of Draymond's game is how I guage their basketball knowledge/understanding.
It sure is. With his repertoire of Jersey pulls, nutshots, elbows, bonehead plays, punching teamates, stomping on players, moving screens, etc he's a great example of how dirty players can be successful in the modern era.

Exactly, I can tell who has a surface level understanding of hoops, if they start saying Draymond is worthless, and if they don’t understand his value. Just like this clown that commented, major strawman, just pointing out the fact that he sometimes makes dirty plays… but every good team has this kind of player… every team has that “DOG” kind of player that will get dirty, that will fight, that will agitate if push comes to shove… but nerds that never played, or soft mf’s that maybe played but never played on the black top, soft af mf’s think everything under the sun is a foul, what a disgrace. Gtfo. That’s soft shit. Draymond would be great in ANY era, because he’s not soft, and he plays with chess moves. This guy is amazing. Always has been! But the trio with steph klay n dray... that's something else. Not because of their skill... but their belief and heart together. That's so rare in any place.... cheers

People who say Dray is trash dont know basketball. Hes first ballot HOF for sure, and shoulve been top 75 all time along with Klay instead of Harden and Embid which have done nothing!!!

He's underrated mainly by the casual crowd because he makes himself pretty unlikeable on the court. They look at stats rather than actually watching him play and don't see those finer details that the casual fans can't see.
