That was excellent you two. Since we all know about this pub now, please tell Eddie, Alex & Ned to do and explore before it gets ruined by vandalism. Ed will show us everything that we missed. Love from Las Vegas, NV
36:56 I think that's supposed to be Guinness Lager, not sugar! 40:07 That's an Xbox One! That's newer than my 360 and it's in an abandoned pub!?! 😂 Good little pub crawl without the drinking! 😊 Thank you to both of you! 😎💙
Was wondering? Thought I Dae a Vacant Haven episode with him in it! But I love these public places. So cool to see it remembered and cataloged this way! Thank you both!
I've seen this when Bex explored the pub and nothing has changed up it's just looking worse wat a real shame for the land lords but it does look a bit dodgy but you will never really know wat happened and why the fire started its crazy that nothing has happened about it after all this time should of been demolished by now
What I heard, there wasn't an immediate insurance payout on this one and the couple who owned it were left penniless. It was meant to have been a gastropub, but it wasn't able to keep up standards a lot of the time because they were managing the business on their own. Oddly, it had already burned down in 1906 and was rebuilt completely by the Friary brewery in Guildford who owned it back then. Their motive for providing such a big building was to attract charabanc tours for thirsty Cockney day-trippers. As an intact private house it would be worth around a million now, so something odd is going on for it to be left a ruin like that.
Thanks for the video 😊 Those bottles of wine were worth a fortune !! Soon be Found now you said where the pub was lol . Can you please explore a place I Devon sometime ...I'll meet up lol Keep up the good work big man 😊
Thanks glad you enjoyed. And the pub was named in previous vids on UA-cam already that’s why I named it. As you might have noticed I don’t usually name places 😎
Don’t think it was, it just had a coil at the bottom which is its stand. It’s where you put used tickets on. Meat thermometer probes are longer and attached to a wire, which leads into a little handheld device which displays the temperature on screen.
Makes me wonder if this place was ever insured ? If I was to eat in a pub I wouldn't want tin food on my plate I'd want fresh produce. Stick it in a microwave then charge £15 or more. Would've been a nice pub rather cluttered all around bit of hoarding going on here I think aswell. Great videos as always to both of you 👍
Jim Jam packed wow
