his fight is really underrated in video game history, he gives alot of creative variety i think. While all phases are not enjoyable some are really fun and amazing. Remember cutting down FUCKIN SKYSCRAPERS ? or him becoming a sith sheeeeeeeeeeeeesh
Xemans has one of the best track records in terms of boss fights not a single one is badly designed and the music is just perfect
The longer I listen to this medley the sadder I become. Because I know we’ll never see him again. Xemnas was my most favorite character in the series and it left my heart cold hearing his last line ever was how the first time his heart had felt anything in a long time and it felt loneliness. That shit cuts deep. I hope wherever he ends up he finds something to fill that void in his heart assuming he didn’t end up returning to Terra.
In kh3, all the baddies return to their proper place in time (when we first defeated them for good)
So xemnas did in fact return to terra (before terranorts time displaced heart was placed back into terra's mindless body)
so therefore he did return to terra, but terra only showed up again when the dark figure and lingering will merged (hence why lw was destroyed)
but yeah, ig xemnas was a mix of terra and xehanorts issues with loneliness and lust for power, so it was both of their problems in one body
10:12 Honestly this is how I expected it to sound in Remind... 2.5s Darkness and 3s L’Oscurita...
Yeah I was expecting a lot more of that sick bass line from the 3D version. That one is definitely my favorite.

When you’re ready for the final boss, but you’re too distracted on how kickass the score/music is. I mean come on! It’s a tradition that Final Boss music is always badass and memorable for years on end!

This sounds great but one version of the darkness of the unknown theme is missing that would make this feel complete, your missing the dz arrangement, here's the version by Benjamin keith that shows this off ua-cam.com/video/2bC2pba2Qb0/v-deo.html, i thought it could help as inspiration to make this theme much greater

Some parts are cool but at the beginning it's frustrating when music changes, like the cut isn't at the right time

Ansem was the last mix I was working on before my unexpected 2 year hiatus. I got pretty far in it but I couldn’t quite get some of the transitions to a point I was happy with. I also lost that project with my old editing laptop so I’d have to start from scratch. I definitely want to revisit it in the future

He’s easily my favorite villain in Kingdom Hearts, but I’ve noticed practically no one has done a medley for him, while I’ve seen several (deserved) ones for Xemnas and Young Xehanort. Which makes sense, any music ties to them is just stupendous. But still!! Give the og KH villain some love!
