I honestly loved the timeskip and technological leap. It's been a few years since I read it, but my biggest problem with the ending from what I can remember was basically just the last few chapters. Everything just felt so rushed. I do wish Morgiana had been present, but it didn't really ruin it for me.
Never have I felt so disappointed with something as I did with Magi. With each episode, my interest decayed and my disappointed rose. Things were unexplored, expectations werent met, the world, which seemed full of wonder and endless, became dull and small. Overrated asf
When I heard how the whole Magi series ended I was pretty upset and extremely sad the way they went about it and there is no satisfying ending/conclusion and no set up of the future or seeing what happened after such as where we see what happened to the characters or how the nations are doing. Seriously what the heck? And also I did not like the cosmology the author applied. It was ridiculous and extremely uneeded to the story. Infinite dimensionality creates chaos and the concept is irrelevant to the plot. It really is depressing what he did to the important position of Aladdin and him being the son of Solomon as if it was unimportant to the end.
@@thatguywithapencil actually she was supposed to have around 14 chapters more but the magazine cutter her chapter and told her to wrap it in 2 chapter he she got no time and decided to end it.on her blog she gave many hints that she wanted to raw it again but since the character belong to the magz she can't even draw it anymore
It is stupid the author decides to throw everything he put into the construction of this fictional world rendering it meaningless. This author has got to be one of the most disappointing and apathetic writers I have ever read from if he thinks this is acceptable. He has rendered everything that had once have meaning in the story and burnt it to ashes right infront us saying: "To hell with you! You get the worse unsatifying ending imaginable and a incomplete story for a quality world I shat down the drain!" David is almost as bad a villain as Kaguya as he appears out of nowhere just like her for the most part and the ending is like the final season of the TV series Game of Thrones. Everything ends horribly and you are left bitter and spiteful towards the author and executives.
I get what you mean. In my mind, Ohtaka sensei just got tired of writing. They were done with Magi, and felt like moving on. Am I happy with the way the series decided to end? Of course not. Can I change it? Also no. I'll just sigh in disappointment and keep it pushing. Now I have Orient.
Itd be a blessing to see them animate the rest of this jewel man.
I really wanted to see Simbad fight all out before he became a literal god but I never got that. Also Kouen and Morjiana.
