I had my first bamix in 1972 and it is something I could not be without in my kitchen I love it and use it daily, I have recommended it to a lot of people over the years and they all agree it’s the best thing in their kitchen.
How do you puree soup without scratching the bottom of the pot. I have a problem with this. Is there a trick such as more liquid in pot or something else? I have just scratched a new pot and I tried not to touch the bottom of the pot.

I am now being extra careful and holding it at a 95 to 100 degree angle while blending. I will not throw the pot out since the scratch is not deep because it is an expensive pot. Thank you for responding to a question from a long time ago.

Bamix ist der Name in der Schweiz und anderen. In Deutschland wird er unter dem Namen ESGE Zauberstab vertrieben und ist als "Zauberstab" eine Institution in der dt. Küche. Meine Oma hatte ihn seit den 60´er Jahren im Einsatz, meiner ist mittlerweile auch schon fast 30 Jahre im Einsatz. Unentbehrlich, trotz Thermomix ☺
