James Stewart at Cahuilla Creek MX - 01 August 2012

James Stewart was riding the main track at Cahuilla Creek MX today. Soooo, I put on the helmet cam and tried to time him scrubbing the back Step-Up. I got it on the 2nd try. To say the least he is ridiculously fast and all I could think of was: "Don't be the idiot who crashes in front of Bubba and take him out".....I have been riding a little over 3-years and started at the age of 50. If you told me I would be in a position to film a guy like this while in the air....Well I am stoked. Super Fun Day.

I was roosted harder in an earlier "Fly-by" of Mr. Stewart....That one did hurt. Shotgun blast. He must have dialed in the rear wheel spray to let you know it's not a good idea to stay near there.

Wow. You started to ride at 50 and you had the pleasure of filming no one else than Bubba scrubbing around you on same track. Amazing memory. You rode with JS7. Wow. So happy for you, must have been a dream completely realized. Thinking I watched a lot of JS7 races during his prime and I always thought I'd like to ride a mx bike...so, never too late?
