as espected. different brand have different configuration. if you install a completely new set of ram of a different brand you need to set the console so it can see the new ram chips. but i don't know if this is a software or hardware modification.
I am not sure what would need to be changed but I am certain, it is above my skill level. I am pretty sure it has to be RAM related but unfortunately, no one is selling any.@@RVNR2022
@@probablycantfixit6426 your only way to get a new set is to get another console and hope. or asking to someone like toltecmerc if, maybe, he have a board you can buy from that have the same ram chips. or other guys that can possibly have many ps5 that you know of course
@@probablycantfixit6426 have you tried contact other tech channels to see if they have a spare board with those exact chips? maybe you can buy from those the entire board or the entire set of ram
I really don't know how to edit the serial number info. I would check out the Cod3r website (www.consolefix.shop/) as he has a free tool that allows you to change from disc to no disc .
Just copy and reflash original bios, it worked for me! i got the same error when i tried to modify other dump from a working identical system. everything worked fine until i tried to update the sistem.
I agree, it is either the SSD or the RAM. As far as I know, an update is first loaded into RAM and the issue I am having is the exact issue that ToltecMerc was having with one of his PS5s. He ended up replacing all of the RAM to get it to install the update. In reality, for me, it is a guessing game. Sorry about the audio, I don't hear any clipping when I listen to the playback but audio is something that has continued to plague me.
I did try and use the SK Hynix with the Micron, and it would not boot at all.

Got a bios file for CFI-1215a disk. Do I need to edit the code to change it to my device serial number. If so please guide. Thanks

How do you reflash it?
My ps5 worked fine after this but no picture no display
It worked fine after you manipulated the BIOS? Was the no picture or display before you manipulated the BIOS?
yes after the bios manipulate
i lose the picture@@probablycantfixit6426
You need another 1215a board to scrap parts from
Agreed.
Have you tried downloading the update file again on another flash drive?
I have tried with multiple flash drives, downloaded and re-downloaded the OS, and connected Cat 5 to the console. None of these work.
Why do you think it is RAM related? Logically It has something to do with SSD.
btw your audio is horrible, clipping.
