  • It took a player like Paul George with the risk of losing out on Kawhi to convince Clippers to trade SGA... he's going to be THAT good. Aggressive and crafty, the guard has a lot to prove in his second year. Relive his best moments from his rookie season.

He’s the definition of determination. Watch him play 1 full game and notice how there’s not one time he slows down. Watched every game he played at UK and I knew then he’d make himself into a great NBA player by his desire alone yet add his athleticism & he’s a true combo guard. I’m glad to see him in OKC now because he’ll get a lot more than the 26 mpg he got in his rookie season especially with Diallo being his backup.

He still has a lot to improve including better choices in passing, a better midrange could make him very strong and if he adds good 3 pts percentages, it's gonna be a rare and complete PG. I'm just going to speak for all Clipper fans when I say this, but we're all sad that we lost him. This guy takes it to the rack against Tier 1 Superstars like it's nothing..This guy is a STUD. He is what Lonzo was hyped to become. His defense is already a plus and he's a two way monster in the making. Some people like Brandon Ingram are still all "potential" on the defensive end. Shai is gonna learn so much from CP3. Say what you will about CP's ability to win a title, but he's a damn good teacher. Remember, Steph Curry came into the league and lived/practiced with CP3. DJ and Clint Capela got big deals because of how CP sets the table. Austin Rivers, etc. I hope OKC makes the playoffs and proves everyone wrong. I'm a clipper fan, but it's pretty obvious people are sleeping on the small market teams.

I'm an OKC fan here too! 😊
But realistically, for the past few years OKC has always been one of the most or if not, better defensive teams in the whole entire league for the past few years.
Even like last year: Russell Westbrook & Paul George, they both can steal the ball and not to mention PG13 was a defensive player of the year candidate. Steven Adams, a strong paint defender, Nerlens Noel, a very energetic shot blocker, Jerami Grant, a player who is capable of Help Defense and shotblocking. etc.
2017 OKC (Westbrook's MVP Year) could work too, as Andre Roberson, one of their vital perimeter defender, Victor Oladipo, who ha some scouts even think of him as a Tony Allen type of player, he's also a player who to easily strip the ball away.

Okc is in a great situation if I’m being real. They just gotta build around this guy and the sky is the limit. But it’s a win win situation: they either do well with the team they have constructed and make the playoffs or they do poorly and trade core pieces with big contracts for future assets. Sam presti can do no wrong in either

SGA + Gallo + Adams can already do good things next season. Probably not enough to reach playoffs though but more because of the quality of the other teams in the west.

No because he wasn’t a high draft pick and didn’t _really_ shine until the 2nd half of the season. He wasn’t expected to be a good scorer, and surprised everyone. Several commentators said he’s a future All-Star...
