- Опубліковано 20 січ 2024
- This week at Starbase, the Orbital tank farm receives some reinforcements, SpaceX's LR11000 is laid down for a possible reconfiguration, and Booster 12 is cryo tested at the SpaceX Massey Outpost. Back at the build site, Booster 13 begins to take shape while the Starfactory expansion continues, and over at Cape Canaveral, Doug is sent out to join Bob and Just Read the Instructions in Charleston while SpaceX launches Axiom-3, it's 12th manned mission.

I tell you what...getting Chief on board was a genius move! His images are amazing and supplement your live cam views perfectly, telling a much more complete story! Nobody should ever miss one of these episodes...they just tell it like it is! Great job team!
I hope@chief is still with @WAI
As always, another value-added update. Your explanations as to what we are seeing are invaluable! Keep them coming!!
2:00 That is one gorgeous time-lapse.
Дякую за відео та настрій, миру та добра!
I'm in central Kentucky and I saw my first SpaceX window decal on the back of a minivan today. Now I want one of my own.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Thanks LAB and Team. So much going on all the time. They must have some amazing project managers there.
Comprehensive overview of so much going on. Thank you for everything.
Thanks LabPadre team!
Thanks for the weekly information, I appreciate it from Kingman Az.. alot is going on there glad you are there able to get us these pictures.. STARSHIPMAN
7:55 probably new HLS cone pathfinder or real test hardware. Good thing to see first glimpse of HLS in the star factory
The pic showing the metal worker grinding on the steel beam should be Time Magazines 2024 Man of the Year!
Timestamp?

Booster 9??? Ik u meant Booster 10 probably but oh well just a simple mistake. We are so close to two years of starbase weekly updates!!!
Thanks, great feedback. Go SpaceX
Man, the equipment and structures still getting bigger and bigger... crazy! 🤪😜
Sweet, another Starship, another explosion
It's wild how they're protecting one tank!
I get the feeling that a lot of this kind of thing (this, the stringers on Ship 26, Lots of other weird things at the test site) are SpaceX people working out the line between what you can engineer on paper and what can actually be produced by real workers. Those tanks in the first place are a good example. Good on paper, but terrible in practice and eventually replaced.
Thank you as always. Great work.
Great recap Lab 👍
Yea - another weekly update 🤓🤓🤓👍👍👍
Great update. Great voice overs. Very quck. No baloney. Keep up the good work.
Thanks as always Padre
Thanks for the accurate update.
- When do you think OFT 3 will head up?
- What new tech are they coming out with to catch faring's?
- What do you think X is going to do with RL11000?
- Next launch?
- Why did it take almost 40 hours for Dragon to dock with the ISS?
- Where do you think the second tower will go with the land trade agreement?
Again, thanks for a great episode! Looking forward to the next.
- NOM (Will)
1. Currently NET February
2. No new tech. Scooping out of the ocean surface is good enough
3. Repair work
4. Elaborate?
5. Because of orbital mechanics
6. Most likely replacing the suborbital pads
Wow. Love your updates but I’ll admit I have to watch it twice as there is so much going on
Fifteens flipper would look great in my backyard. I need to make some calls.
Thanks, Lab.
10:38 its the dorsal fin for space shark
Went to google maps to take a guess at what the structural A-frame is for and good lord their imagery is so far behind what was shown in the video. It might as well be an entirely different facility.
It has been 21 months since I commissioned my Starlink system and I haven't had an internet drop since. Hopefully we will be getting a Starlink cell phone in the future!
What's your situation and how's it compare to other offerings in your area? Genuinely curious.
Very rural and the only options are hughes net or twisted pair. Hughes net is too expensive and twisted pair is too slow. Another selling feature for me was the easy setup I used my old dish mount and the adapter from starllink and haven't had a problem since. @@patricklewis7636
I really enjoy your presentations. It would be nice if you could tell us which launch of the year you are talking about.
👍👍🥰🚀😁

I like your narrative, because I don't need to 'see' everything. Im half asleep anyways. Picture compilations don't appeal to me; my eyes are usually off screen. I'm happy with 10-15 min extremely clear audio news updates, with accurate visual porting when i do look.
05:03 Tele-handler = forklift?
10:46 Starfactory pic - is that a double wall going in on the right side? Maybe for windows?
The vertical truss columns are designed for supporting heavy loads of the elevated rails and the bridge cranes.
the LR11000 crane could be going to masseys?
Wow .. !! what a great update ... Super job LabPadre and team .. !!
A-frame is possible a roof truss??
01:27 Ship QD - Converting to an adjustable, movable QD for next gen taller boosters &/or ships?
Those next gen ships aren't coming for many months yet. The work on the Ship QD is repair damage done by the last launch and perhaps to upgrade it some way.
@@michaeldeierhoi4096 "...perhaps upgrade it in some way"? Like maybe upgrading it in some way to handle longer/taller launch stacks??
Simple ideas for the simple-minded.
@@LordDustinDeWynd 🙄
I think I spotted the deliberate mistake Booster 9? (3:20) ;)
3:25, B9?
A frame for a new QD on the second launch tower ???
❤❤❤❤
🎉🎉🎉
Didn't B9 launch already?
Whats the odds of the 100th cast being after IFT3?
3:22 booster 9?
Booster 13
IFT3 or OFT1 will hopefully stick to the flight plan. Looks as if they already have all the rockets that the license allows for this year. With a 2nd launch tower, I think they will have HLS certified by summer '26. 20 successfull flights needed.
🚀🏴☠️🎸
One test they have no done is the drop test see if the tower chop stick can take down force of the wait of the rocket.
Except they did
There is no need to wait to test the weight of the booster when the weight has been tested every time it is lifted onto the OLM. 😂😅
