I have always taken my protein with milk and still got good results. I was a runner up in the local body building competition in 2018.
I always believed that daily protein consumption is important rather than consuming it with water or milk..
Protein powder breaks down slowly in your body of taken with milk. You might a great metabolism if you got good results after taking it with milk.

So i would suggest to take 60 gram protien from your normal eating and if you require more according to your physical goals take supplement. People take 30 gram from food and 30 gram from supplement is making poor food choices.

It does makes sense if you are a professional athlete, as the additional nutrition may assist to reach your goals, however nothing can replace wholesome natural foods.

It was good to learn that concentrate whey protein is to gain mass and muscle. Whereas Isolate protein is better to gain muscle while losing mass. I was using the wrong type of protien. THis knowledge will help me while buying protein again.

One doubt: As u said that the one who is not doing any physical activity should not take protein shake but the body requires protein as you mentioned it should be the number of grams as your weight. Workout creates micro muscle injuries. Body needs protein to then repair those muscles. If the process doesn't start, excess protein, like she said could get deposited elsewhere like in the form of kidney stones. Start working out for 1-2 months before you start protein supplements.
Assuming the average person who doesn't workout is under 70kg, getting 60-70g of protein from natural sources isn't that hard to do.
Protein is protein. irrespective of you doing workout or not, you require it. unless it is within the limits there wont be a problem.

Well, your mistake no. 4 is outdated now since new researches found that our body doesn't need fast absorbing protein, so actually mixing protein with milk gives more benefit and also Creatine gets absorb by body better when taken with milk. Lots of bodybuilders actually take their protein with milk by adding other things like banana or berries. With milk, our body keep getting the protein with intervals which makes recovery faster.

No one adds weight or loses by using protein powders so it doesnt really matter if your protein has some fats and carbs in it. It's the overall diet where if you're over eating or are in a caloric surplus then you start to gain. A lot of so called fitness influencers have made fitness so complicated that everything has to be explained to the normal masses. Fitness and training has always been easy to understand. The only people who can't even achieve a normal physique are just lazy to put in the efforts. You don't need to workout 5 hours a day or eat bland food unless your goal is to achieve a show physique. Also, there is a new trend starting to pop up on social where the guy or girl don't really have a good physique but just by wearing tight clothes or some sort of body hugging outfits and some good camera angles, they grab attention of the normal masses. I have seen a lot of women who are overweight but just because of their outfits and skin show they have a huge fan following and they call themselves artists and fitness influencers.

You can eat watevr u want but maintain balanced diet and macros as per yo goal ie to loose weight. Protein is gud for weight loss coz it keeps u satiated for long. Also protein powder r gud coz it helps u maintain yo balanced diet as u can get pure protein directly instead when u take the same quantity from food sources whic have other macros as well along with it. With milk also u can consume protein powder but its digesion will be slow also milk adds its own macros in yo shake. So if u can balance yo daily macro intake including milk than there shudn b ny issue. whic protein powder u use??

Natural Sources much preferred, but instead of HK I liked TSN / ISOPURE / ON Gold Standard much better, no bloating issues at all. Also, to my knowledge artificial sweeteners and maltodextrin is found in max protein powders.

Mam, i liked the content of this video. But only one thing which i disagree was point number 9 where you mentioned sedentary life style person should not use whey protein and it is advisable for active sport related person.
Sedentary life style person must have protein rich food or powder to reduce the risk of obesity
protein powder has calories in them, if one has a sedentary lifestyle this added calories will just make him gain more weight. it's not a supplement for lazy lumps, it's for people who have a busy schedule and can't always keep making protein rich food
@@supersanj one portion or scoop will give around 100-125 calories and about 20-25gms of protein. Protein will also have longer digestion period which will keep the stomach full and less hunger contraction. So it's better to have protein from my point of view.

You have recommended Women Up protein by HK vitals after which I bought it. In the ingredient list Maltodextrin is clearly mentioned. Why would you recommend this then when you mentioned how harmful it is?
Maltodextrin is FSSAI Approved plant based filler. It's totally safe. Don't get misguided by this UA-camr.
@aarzoobakhshi you are right. Maltodextrin is only refined carbohydrate. 100 gms of it has 97 gms of carbs. It's absolutely not recommended for those who want's to lose weight. Whey concentrate or isolate from well trusted brands are best to consume. I always prefer unflavored unsweetened whey iso which has 90% protein, and nothing else.

Take pure whey protien which only has whey and some emulsifier. I would suggest to make smoothie with fruit cocoa powder and adding small amout of sugar doesn't hurt. Atleast you know what you are taking. I take protien powder with cocoa and a small amount of sugar like 6 grams and also add some stevia
