Why don't trains and subways in Europe and the USA have as much trouble with tags as they do here in Brazil?

I think it really depends on the region in the us and europe, where I lived in western germany and Berlin you would definitely see a few painted trains every day. Some regional trains might even run 2-4 weeks before being buffed
