O'Sh and the assistant coaches deserve a lot of credit for turning the season around for the Bombers, winning the west and getting to the Grey Cup. His comments seem reasonable as to why Brady wasn't used more often- if coaches see the box loaded , you make a decision to change the play for pass or pass-option. However, after Zach's second interception, why Zach was not pulled for re-assessment of his injury. Maybe that happened but he came back in and showed he was not 100% . Coach should have decided on the conservative side, kept him out and get Terry in for pass-option or short underneath passes to Brady. And Terry can run. At least it would have kept the defence off balance. So O'Sh hit all the errors that were made . The big question- will the Bombers be able to correct the mistakes and be a Grey Cup contender in 2025? I think they can because they have proven that they can in the past. Looking forward to next year. Returning veterans,new players, new coaches, new strategies. Go Bombers!

While losing is no fun, 7 other teams also didn't win the cup. Bombers finished first in the league and went to the Grey Cup - that's better than Edmonton! No shame. Next year. Re interference on the blocked punt: 1. That Winnipeg player was an American, and so less familiar with the Canadian rules. (As if *_I_* knew that rule! But Canadian players probably have a similar rule in their university days.) 2. I think the automatic first down is harsh - should just be possession (much like a fumble recovery). Football is big on "punishment", to punish a team if they break a rule; baseball and soccer are much different, their rules just try to restore fairness.
He mentions in the 3rd quarter that they had 6 plays on Offense.. But the defense never stopped all star QB Arbuckle very well either. There were some plays the defense made no doubt..But Zack had like 6 completions all game playing in the 3rd quarter? So i think preparation and coaching were mainly at fault here. Yet O shea denies that..I guess you can't correct your issues if you don't look in the mirror and admit you have a problem. They won't represent the WEST at their home grey cup in 2025

Yes. Optimally, the backup QB gets more playing time during the season, so everyone is comfortable that the backup QB is ready. (In the cards analogy, you grow your 5 into a 7.)
