That's a tough one...his Tomb of Dracula work is probably my favourite horror comics artwork of all time but just generally pretty much everything Colan did was great. As well as this I like his Daredevil and Howard the Duck runs a lot as well
The Colan art is definitely the best, but I actually quite like the Bill Everett and Marie Severin art. The stories are all over the place in this volume (read them in Essentials over a decade ago), definitely looking forward to seeing them in color.
Dont feel bad...i just discovered Jack Kirby....Steve Ditko these recent months. As a kid I never liked silver age style comics. Now they lookime art to me and been buying them all!

16:14 This spread is very Will Eisner-esque. I'm sure both Steranko and Colan were influenced by Eisner's Spirit.
I think the art of Gene Colan here is unmatched. It's even better than in the Tomb of Dracula.
