They did this weird dramatic episode where Mr turner who was becoming more of a main character, he took Shawn in. He gets into an accident, in a coma and then he doesn't exist.

Of course he isn't playing a hot headed founding father in this show so he's more laid back. Adams was one "make me" away from kissing half the people in that congress in the movie. Yeah I always thought he just died but the show didn’t want to take that dark of a turn
