BTO, one of the greatest bands in the history of rock and roll. I followed them and saw them at least 4 times in the early seventies and bought all of their albums. I'm embarrassed that the American RRHF has not inducted them yet. This is an atrocity, F__k 'em. God Bless Tim and Ronnie Bachman and Thanks for the music and good times you gave us.
Yes they do belong in the Hall of Fame unfortunately doesn't look like it rushes the only Canadian rock band that's in the Hall of Fame they deserve it but so does BTO

Some of their songs are in my truck everyday ( downloaded) I'm 63 and I have one way or another possessed and bought BTO s music since I was 16 yrs old. Trust me, no butt kissing BS here, I listened to em Today, That's how I Roll!!!☮️👈🏽
They NEED to be in the R&R Hall of Fame! They have sold OVER 30 MILLION RECORDS now (Read the rest of their stats)> Their 1970s catalogue included five top-40 albums and six US top-40 singles (11 in Canada). BTO has five certified gold albums and one certified platinum album in the US; in Canada, they have six certified platinum albums and one certified gold album. There are several undeserving bands in the R&R HOF with far less album sales too!
Great tribute! I flew from Houston to Buffalo NY, then rented a car and drove to see them (Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings) at Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario Canada on July 20th, 2022! It was fantastic seeing these legends sing and play live. I was almost in tears hearing all their great songs that brought back so many memories and feelings. I listened to them (The Guess Who) on my little Radio Shack am radio that was attached to my handlebars when I was a kid throwing papers in Houston for years starting in 1967 (I was 11), then had my first dance with a girl at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls Texas to "Takin care of Business" by BTO in 1974.
Sweet, it would have been Great to see Tim up there too; but Just seeing these guys up there is Cool and they should have been in the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame LONg Ago!!
Wouldn't it be great if the four of them would set aside their disagreements, get back together again, and do a reunion tour? They all still look healthy enough to do a nice long tour. And there are plenty of fans that would support it! Well, we can dream, can't we?
There was too much bad blood when Robbie and Blair (foolishly) sued Randy and Fred for calling themselves “Bachman & Turner.” People are allowed to use their real names in all cases.
Just seeing this today for the 1st time - and I was curious as to who was going to be accepting the Juno - and it was great to see the 4 guys come out - but, no one introduced themselves and 50 years later, I couldn't recognise anyone but Randy and Fred - and I don't know who the host was ("Commander Chris Hatfield"??) but how embarrassing for the CANADIAN JUNO host not know how to correctly pronounce "BACHMAN"??!! Really?! Randy then correctly says "BACK-man" when he mentions his brothers. Unreal. I'll bet he couldn't believe it.
one time I was in Montreal and went to the principal Library and asked for a BTO cd ... and the told me that they didnt have one... I was very dissapointed, because I was in Canada, and they said they didnt have one...bad experienced....
It grates on my ears to hear him mispronounce the name of the band. This isn't an American awards show! Get it right. It's "BACK" man - not "BAHK" man.
One of the absolute greatest bands of all time !

I grew up with BTO and their music. What an amazing band! We had the radio on all the time and BTO would be playing in the 70s, 80s, 90s and now 2000s
Yep it was played on the radio all the time.
BTO deserves to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Along with The Guess Who!

Rest in peace, Robbie Bachmann.
Also Tim Bachman, he was on their first two albums (RIP).

But they had to get the Go Gos in there first...
@@lintelle2382 Dolly Parton was inducted this year...
@@seerstone8982 yeah, complete joke. I mean, I like DP, but for the RRHoF??
Kudos to Randy for mentioning Charles and Tim Bachman as well as Jim Vallance and Jim Clench.
I saw them last week in Rockford Illinois and I wish Fred was there but it was a great show Randy's son Tal is amazing

North of the border - BACKman. South of the border - BACHman.
Be nice if they could make an album
Was Fred getting teary eyed?
Yep.
I remember Fred from the 60's playing in bands with my brother in law Ken. Fred is a very sweet man.

How the hell is Randy Bachman not in the R&R Hall of Fame? Ridiculous....
I don't know. It pisses me off.
I agree
Who the Hell, Why the Hell, What the Hell, There`s going to be Hell to pay
Because of the bands in fighting and lawsuits
the rrhof is bullshit. its meaningless.
Thumbs up 👍

Truckers? In the day of automated CV transmissions what would today the name be? Bachman Turner Automatic??
Damn they're old.
Amerikan woman super song
The Guess Who most definitely deserves to be in The Hall but we all know the hall sucked as soon as they let Disco & rappers infiltrate
