Personally speaking, I'm spiritual, but I don't follow this whole organised religion thing like Lacey and Leon & many others do, there's so much about it that I don't believe in. However saying that, one respects one's beliefs. I met Lacey twice when she was in Flyleaf, when they were playing in my home town in the UK, Newcastle upon Tyne, and funnily enough the first time they were supporting Korn, and I found her to be rather friendly and down to earth and even modest. The second time I met her, [she actually remembered me from the first time which was awesome] I was wearing an Iron Maiden t-shirt with '666 - The Number of the Beast' on it and she commented it on how awesome it was, great band and a great album it was of, that coming from such a strong willed Christian proved to me that she didn't look down on me because I wore that, it mean't that she respected other people's beliefs as well. Back then, I knew she and the band had strong Christian beliefs and that she had a troublesome early life, but I never knew then that she had so bad as to what we know now. Whether you follow religion or not, one must respect at what she has gone through and how she's came out of it.
Religion is an organized set of rules and it puts people in a box. Many religions look at God as a deity that you get to one day far away after living your whole life under strict rules and, often times, even living in fear. God wants people to be happy and also willingly follow him and choose actions that lead to life. The advice I have for you is to get to know Him for yourself; read the and study bible, speak to him, pray.
Heavenly father again I thank you for your sister in Christ Lord as he's giving her testimony Lord all of us believers and non-believers hear her cry. her. Also Lord let us realize and hear the cry as believers to keep our heart open and hear the cry of their heart to every young person.

If the Bible didn't exist, I would still know there IS a God who created the universe and created us with a purpose. Ever since I was a child, I saw God in everything, everywhere. I knew there was someone I had to answer to who was above my own parents--above my teachers--above world leaders. I knew about humbling myself before God ever since I was a child. God is all around us in everything, but many people have hardened hearts--possibly from tragedies or experiencing pain and difficult lives--and so they push God out and never experience his love. I"m very sure Lacey's experience and testimony is honest and true, and that God reached out to her because she does have a purpose: reaching people who are lost or hearts that are hardened and give people hope. Jesus came to teach us that we have hope to go on from here and to have an everlasting relationship with God. We were created with a soul that goes on. We don't just die and that's it. Our bodies are done, but our soul lives on. I have had many experiences I could share that proves this is true. Jesus said "Seek and you shall find" You have to seek God and then you'll find his love. Also Jesus said "I am the way, the life and the truth." This is our temporal life...He is life everlasting.

Lacey Rocks and is a genuine person. Her music is some of the best worship music I have ever heard.
I myself am Agnostic, but Lacey's story is amazing and she's just a very beautiful person. I'm happy for her rediscovering her faith and happiness.
