I recently bought one thanks to your earliers videos. Really like the pedal for synths! The reverb isn't as good as my Strymon Big Sky, but with the combination of 2 delays and the reverb you can create nice soundscapes. Also I really like the hands-on control. Thanks for all the great video's and keep up the work!
Well damn, maybe they will do this again? Having a hard time deciding on a reverb, delay, looper type box in the $3-500 range. There's this thing, Mercury 7, Big Sky, Blue Sky, Timeline, Space, Pitchfactor, Echosystem... Andromeda and now Silverlake. And that's just most (not even all) of the pedal contenders before considering just a plain ol' Lexicon rack unit. I currently have a DL4, 2 MoFX and an old ART rack reverb.
I have several hardware synths and have really gotten into fx pedals this past year; my faves: Pigtronix Echolution Deluxe, Echosystem, Ventris Dual Reverb, TC's Triple Delay, Korg SD3000. Working on setting up a couple patch bays for routing synths and fx. You should definitely check out the Ventris Dual Reverb.... i just love the tails on it, Compared it to both the Big & Blue and just found it 'more natural'. Yes, i know's that's subjective but my ears are my ears... ;)
yeah Ventris is another one and of course Nemesis... trying to get things all in one box for $500 or less but many of these would require at least 2 boxes and put the price more in the 500-1k range.
Would be a cool addition but not comparable to the Mooer Ocean Machine. The Mooer is a Delay & Reverb + Looper processor for more traditional stuff, particle is more experimental oriented: granular etc. ;)
a good cheap alternative but not a clone or very similar. Strymon pedals are unique and have an even better sound :) You can get quite similar results but still not the same.
thanks for your input! to be honest, it's designed for guitarist which doesn't need primarily MIDI clock sync. If it's a synth pedal, yes than it a big issue. ;)
I bought this for synths... already sent a request to Mooer regarding making this happen. They have acknowledged the possibility of it happening. Fingers x'd. Though its easy enough to convert milliseconds to bpm in the meantime.
@@nickdryad much easier is just to turn off the effects with the foot switches ;) synth people prefer turning knobs instead of pressing foot switches ;)

OMG now I have to get a Blofeld!

Nice review, amazing. Thanks! Can i input two different signals on both input channels, e.g. synth left and guitar right?
Yes if it has stereo in and out, like all the Strymon pedals
I need help! How do i access tap tempo in preset mode? I can only do freeze mode?
and?
Red Panda Particles?

So is this similar than the BIGSKY from Strymon? Thanks :D

@@synthanatomy What would be an equivalent delay/reverb fx from Strymon?
unfortunately, the lack of midi clock sync for beat delay, is a real issue

actually i've asked for it months ago, and still no new firmware... :(
the real issue is to sync up for a live set with different BPMs
yeah agreed I want it as well. What modern hardware that has ‘midi in’ doesn’t allow for midi sync? Anyway hopefully they make it happen
There’s no way to bypass the pedal is there.
you can turn down all Reverb & Delay mix parameters so you can bypass it or turn them off with the foot switches
@@synthanatomy so you have one patch set with all parameters disabled? thanks..

SYNTH ANATOMY thanks. I will do that then. All the best:)
