If you're new to Hebrew and to our channel, please note that this course is designed so that you won't need any translation to understand by the time you reach this lesson. This is lesson 124, so be sure to start from Lesson 1 and watch in order for the best learning experience! 😉
Hoping to get here soon! I'm on lesson 89 🙏🙌 and am able to understand quite a bit of this lesson already. Thank you for producing these excellent lessons.
@@غريبفيوطنيفلسطين *I understand it's biblical Hebrew. The title of the channel is Biblical Hebrew. But until now it's everyday Hebrew that's taught in the channel. Ahlan wa-sahlan habibi!*
You guys do great work. Keep it up! I need to get better at my Hebrew schools. My Jewish grandfather thinks it is cool. God blesses those that bless Israel.
This was a very valuable lesson, so diverse, i.e with everyday life and biblical examples! Biblical examples (especially stories, more than poetry) help us most! Thank you so much, dear Beth and Andrew ❤🙏

Thank you so much Beth! I was hoping you would do the Hebrew for "bring", as I noticed it was a Hiphil verb which seems to come up quite a bit in the Bible. Shalom!
It would seem from the use in the text that פרח is the bud or early stage of flowering, and the open flower is ציץ, though there may not be a super strict line between the two. I think we see the distinction mostly clearly in Num 17:23, where Aaron's staff "sprouts" פרח, and "puts out buds," פרח and produces blossoms/flowers ציץ.
@@AlephwithBeth Thank you for your response. I am learning the Hebrew language. I learned to read and write, and now I am learning to converse. I liked the teaching method on your UA-cam channel, but I felt that there was a little difference.🥰

Good morning. Is this Hebrew a general language that they speak in daily life in Israel, or a language specific to the Torah?

Nice lesson, as always.
But I have a hunch you flipped פרח and ציץ around for some reason...
Thanks! Actually, I realized I introduced פרח incorrectly last time, due to influence from its use as "flower" in MH...
@@AlephwithBeth *¿Qué significa MH?*
Modern Hebrew
@@AlephwithBeth Hm so is ציץ really "flower" and פרח "bud", or vice versa?

Good morning. Is this Hebrew a general language that they speak in daily life in Israel, or a language specific to the Torah?
It's specifically the ancient Hebrew of the Hebrew scriptures, so it's a bit different than Modern Israeli Hebrew.
