    Laminar are the top 2 and turbulent are the bottom 2

      Nope, only the last one is turbulent. The third one is still "in transition". The difference is that the third one is a almost-2D structure that goes repeatedly with time, instead the 4th is complete random, hence turbulent.

      Laminar is the one that is consistent turbulent is the one that seems inconsistent and all over the place.
