Davy, I'm thinking the extra ceiling material can be used to cover the underside of the roof (the eave) around the perimeter of the house as was done with Mama Ann's house. It will give the roof a more finished look.
Life is a book of many chapters, we keep learning as we go. I am glad you and your dad were released, I first heard about the incident from your brother Marwa. I can't believe they actually arrested you for such a minor issue, surely they should have just let you know about the issue then gone looking for the boys. And not to arrest them, but simply to give them a caution.

This should never happen to anyone. I hope Lynn Ngugi or someone with a platform like hers can take this story up so that the foolish people involved are held accountable, period. Otherwise, this will happen again elsewhere, and for this innocent, humble young man called Davy Jr, we applaud you for handling the situation with maturity. I really want to know why your dad was handcuffed, hence Lynn Ngugi to air this in the court of public opinion. In the USA you can sue for the trauma this has caused the family. Fencing, CCTV, and maybe a watchman at the gate. Fellow Africans stop this stupidy of bringing people down, extortion, and bribery. All the very best to this family, they've all worked hard. Hi davey im your follower am 75 yr old a grandma with 5 grandchildren with five sons living only in my old house. Its a crazy dream for me to reconstruck my home because w e really dont have enough resources for the budget. Im so inspired by you helping uncke mo's home to be reconstucted. You really have a good heart. Even though im old ,i still im dreaming of creating my you tube channel ,but iknow its impossible. I was born in rural community in Jamaica, and believe me, I can tell you a lot of stories. People who you least expect to do evil when they are dying, they make confession to all kinds of atrocities that they did to other people in the community. And because of that and some personal experiences, I learn to be careful with human beings.
