There's still a Video Warehouse operating in my hometown of Waycross, GA! It's been operating since the 80s, and was the first place I ever rented a video from. Not sure the last time I've seen one open--I miss video stores!!
Thanks Adam that's what I love about your vlogs just spent 1 hours reading about the area you visited and another hour about the boll weevil and how it contributed to the Great Depression and migration out west and development of Los Angeles. Very educational. Keep rolling brother.
Enterprise was attacked by boll weevels? "Captain, the boll weevils are attacking!" "Scotty, I need more bug spray!" "I canna change the laws of insects!"
This morning's vlog was so awesome it was NUTS! :) I just got an hilarious image in my head of Large Marge flying down some railroad tracks while the screaming of, "It's the Daily Woo!" can be heard in the air!
Do you have easy access to fresh water? If yes, you should consider keeping your fresh water storage to a minimum. Water as you know is very heavy, along with the weight of your fuel really affects your mpg! Just a suggestion!
I love seeing all these places I never even knew existed, you're expanding my mind man! LOL And with you as the host, it's always fun and interesting :D Take care out there Adam, we love you.
Right near Dothan and Enterprise is a town called Opp Alabama, each year they have a rattlesnake rodeo there. Very interesting. I lived there (Enterprise) for 6 months when I was younger.
Adam, I was born and raised in Dothan and still currently live here. My wife is from Newton where you visited the Skeeto Tree. It made my day to see you visit my city!! You will have to come back the first week of November when the Peanut Festival is going on. It's one the best experiences you'll have. I wish I would been able to shake your hand tell you how much I appreciate your vlogs! I hope you enjoyed your time coming through our area and got to see and experience some "majestic" things! You got to admit the Worlds Smallest City Block is pretty unique. Safe travels and continued well wishes!
DUDE! I grew up in Enterprise! The weevil on top of the statue has been stolen so many times, and people have regularly dumped detergent into the fountain. I also used to work in that radio station building next to it (when it was WKMX) in the early '90s. So happy you paid a visit there!
Having flashbacks to my husband's military service. When we were stationed in Germany, AFI used to have a informational message (which replaced the standard commercials) about Enterprise and the Boil Weevils. Awesome to have you there and reminding me of some interesting history. Safe travels.
My instructor from AIT at Ft Rucker lost his son in the tornado that hit the school. But good times going on weekend passes into Enterprise and Dothan with the southern hospitality!
Love the old towns!! I say this a lot but your vlogs are so packed with amazing footage!! Everyday is an amazing adventure for me!! Happy you are on the open road with Large Marge!! See you tomorrow!!!
The reason there are so many helicopters is because Enterprise Alabama is the home of Ft. Rucker. The Army's 1st Aviation Brigade, the 110th Aviation Brigade, and the 23d Flying Training Squadron. When I was in HS we used to travel up there for our JROTC competitions.
I was looking forward to you starting to travel the world. However, this is equally exciting knowing that you're pouring everything into evolving your channel. Most ppl don't focus on making their channel better. You have always done that. For example, starting to edit daily vlogs, buying an expensive drone for bird eye shots and now buying an RV and many other things. Thank you and know that stuff doesn't go unnoticed.
From Tuscaloosa to Hattiesburg via Hwy 11 is a great scenic trip. That was the route before I-59-20 was built. Lots of old town centers and 50's era abandoned hotels.
Thanks for the video Fort Rucker is the army helicopter training base in that area you were in. You brought back some good memories of my military training. The helicopters were UH-1H Huey's
The little houses are Safety Town :). It's a program to teach children pedestrian safety, fire safety, storm safety, what to do when you are lost, etc. They literally set them up like little towns. If you Google search images, it's adorable.
This video has so many memories I used to live in Dothan back when that tornado hit Enterprise that was such a sad and terrible time for the city prays for their families and loved ones
Hey Adam, if you're looking for small towns, and you're in the area, there is a small town right outside of Kansas City called Weston, Mo. It's a very interesting town!
Enterprise AL is essentially Army aviation central, with Ft Rucker next door. Hence why there are Hueys as monuments/memorials etc all over the place if you were wondering why so many all over town.
I’m going to Vlog the boil weevil monument tomorrow so I decided to go back and find your episode on the daily Woo. To reminisce at how you did it justice and Obviously I found it but watching these old travel vlogs makes me miss this. I really enjoyed all of these VLOGS where you just traveled around and filmed everything these episodes are great and will live forever
I spent a weekend in Dothan, AL. It changed my entire life. It was one of the roughest weekends I ever had(it is not the town or anyone there's fault). I think I am a better person know because of it. Good evening from the other side of the world.
With the addition of Large Marge, you're now taking us into even more mysterious little corners of the planet we've never seen before, and I'm loving every bit of it! Every day is a new adventure!
Super eerie being in Enterprise with the tornado sirens testing. The storm that tore thru in '07 was an EF4 - the next to highest rating. Safe travels during the brewing weekend winter storm Adam!
Dothan is where all my relatives on my mom's side are from and most still live. Of course, they really lived near Cottonwood but were born in Dothan. Nice to see a video where I have been a lot.
The only flaw in your plan to put the train wheels on Large Marge it that the people running the railroad know that the service guys are out there and keep the trains away. If you decide to explore northern Alabama and maybe head into Tennessee, take I-65. There is a full scale mock up of a Saturn 1B rocket from the Apollo missions in the I-65 welcome center.
thanx for sharing your adventures, even sometimes crazy, with us but we still love you. your rendition of the running man (your fingers under the humungous white shirt) was EPIC!
Thanks for the video, Adam. Do you incorporate any geocaching in your adventures? Seems like that would be a good hobby for you. You could rack up some rare finds, and the people who put them out there would consider it a badge of honor from you having visited, and signed their caches.
nice one Mother Rucker! spent a few days in that neck of the woods over Thanksgiving a couple years ago when my cousin was in flight school learning to fly a UH-60. Fun Fact: Those water towers are one of the primary landmarks pilots use to navigate when flying VFR
Speaking of fountains in the middle of an intersection there is an awesome one on the southside of Indianapolis, Indiana in a community called Fountain Square. We have another one in the center of Indy known as Monument Circle. It's also known as the largest Christmas tree. Come visit us Adam.
There ain't nothing meaner than a damned ole Boll Weevil! I'm from Arkansas and went to college at UAM. Our mascot is the Boll Weevil. It's the only school mascot that there has ever been a federal eradication program for.
The little houses are for a little Christmas Village they put on downtown called Christmas Candyland....you should head about 1 hour south back into NW FLORIDA come check out DeFuniak Springs...and our beautiful Lake DeFuniak second most naturally round lake in the world..surrounded by victorian houses.
Talking about the strength of a tornado in 1990 while working in a subdivision of new homes in Joliet ,Ill. the Plainfield Tornado struck and on the front page of one of the local papers was the pic of a RR boxcar that was picked up and placed on top of the local high school from a block away, think about how much a boxcar weighs then to lift and carry it a block away, yeah they are quite strong!!!
Now you are living. you seem 10 times happier than you did just a few weeks ago. LOL you dont like be in one place for very long. I get it. Thumbs up for the old wrecker truck and RV rusting away.
Glad to see you're passing through my home state! I live up in Cullman--north central Alabama. Don't know if you're coming up this way (south of Huntsville, north of Birmingham), but if so, I'd be happy to show you a few cool places for your daily vlog. Keep up the great work, my man!
Hello Adam.....I love your daily vlog. I look forward to watching it every evening when I get home from work. I was wondering when you will start back your Adan To Woo movie locations again? That is how I got started watching you was through the movie location videos. I love those things. Thank You, Ray
Credit card companies will only insure a stole card up to $75 dollars for an at the pump purchase. Over that comes out of the station owner's pocket so that's why they cut off at that amount. If you use your card three times it will be cut off and you have to call the credit card company to give them your safety word.
Congratulations on surpassing the 100k subscriber threshold!!! I'm quite late to tell you seeing as I watch you everyday but it's never too late right!!??
We had a truck just like the one towards the end of the vlog rust and all. it's name was big bertha. The check engine light wouldn't go off so we stuck a wad of gum over it.
Adam, I loved this video, and the last few days since you've started this epic road trip. I'd never see or know about these fascinating little places if not for you. Thanks man, keep up the great work and amazing explorations. I'd love to see you visit the Outer Banks of North Carolina, from, say Duck or Corolla in the North, South to Ocracoke Island. Florida Keys as well, once you're back that way in the future. Safe travels!
You were all over my old stomping grounds. I lived in Troy, went to school at the Jr College in Enterprise and shopped at the mall and attended the Peanut Festival in Dothan. Good to see it all again!!
Oh snap you went to enterprise. And you went to cutts! And you went to where my school used to be. I was actually kicked out of that school before the tornado hit. Many of the kids who died were my classmates. I watched the tornado come through town while coming home from a part time job i was working at the time. Never forget that day.
I live in enterprise, it's a great community. I was hoping you'd come and show us off, but when you finally did come I was down in Orlando on a church trip, I was hoping to get to meet you lol. A little bit more about the monunent, it's the only monument in the world that honors a pest, and we sent a copy of it to South Korea a few years back. Anyways, love you Adam!
Have a great day everyone ! Thanks for watching my daily adventures
adamthewoo You are living the dream my friend thank you for bringing us along

i love watching these. 😍 Be safe and keep on trucking!
So, I guess Bill's sister would have been Miss Sketo?
There's still a Video Warehouse operating in my hometown of Waycross, GA! It's been operating since the 80s, and was the first place I ever rented a video from. Not sure the last time I've seen one open--I miss video stores!!
thats awesome. I love seeing the rare ones that are still open
Elle, we had a video warehouse up here in Dublin. Ga. unfortunately it closed a couple of years ago.
Thanks Adam that's what I love about your vlogs just spent 1 hours reading about the area you visited and another hour about the boll weevil and how it contributed to the Great Depression and migration out west and development of Los Angeles. Very educational. Keep rolling brother.
Adam you make anything & everything an Adventure !!!!!!
I love your Arnold impressions!
Awesome! Just recently visited a couple of these when I came through on my roadtrip
Love small towns....thanks for reminding of my roots!!!
Some would call this city's obsession un-boll-weevil-ble.
Mrs. Sunshine Bwahahaha!
+Release Bat +Brit H Thanks. Glad I put a smile on your faces :)
This ranks right up there as one of my favorite things of the day... Thanks Mrs Sunshine.
+Mississippi Dave 😊
I love the vibe of these videos!! RV adventures are fun!
Thanks for showing all the small towns. I really like to see the old places. Great journey!
Enterprise was attacked by boll weevels? "Captain, the boll weevils are attacking!" "Scotty, I need more bug spray!" "I canna change the laws of insects!"

sometimes you just have to check for yourself on the dead-end. never know what u will find
I love seeing all these places I never even knew existed, you're expanding my mind man! LOL And with you as the host, it's always fun and interesting :D Take care out there Adam, we love you.
Good Morning Adam. Its 4° here.😱😱 Enjoy your heatwave of 55°.
Right near Dothan and Enterprise is a town called Opp Alabama, each year they have a rattlesnake rodeo there. Very interesting. I lived there (Enterprise) for 6 months when I was younger.
I wonder if anyone gets bugged in this city. It looks like a great place to BUG OUT.
I wonder if they have pest control ?
That truck is called a hi-rail truck. They are equipped with hydraulic railroad wheels that can be lifted up while driving on the road.
High Adam you are so funny im bustin up today over the city block great one Adam
Adam, I was born and raised in Dothan and still currently live here. My wife is from Newton where you visited the Skeeto Tree. It made my day to see you visit my city!! Hi, Adam! Did you get a t-shirt for yourself or a magnet for Large Marge with the boll weevil on it? ;-)
hearing the birds in the background makes me happy. my town has 5 feet of snow on the ground. and the robin is our state bird.
hi Adam happy New year!
I could watch you trip volog's all day.
DUDE! I grew up in Enterprise! The weevil on top of the statue has been stolen so many times, and people have regularly dumped detergent into the fountain. I also used to work in that radio station building next to it (when it was WKMX) in the early '90s. So happy you paid a visit there!

Really enjoying these blogs. Hope the rv is startng to feel like home. Stay safe Adam and keep up the good work.
Be safe Adam.
My instructor from AIT at Ft Rucker lost his son in the tornado that hit the school. But good times going on weekend passes into Enterprise and Dothan with the southern hospitality!
You have a nice upbeat energy and show cool stuff in this one, a little more than the others. Kudos!
Love the old towns!! I say this a lot but your vlogs are so packed with amazing footage!! Everyday is an amazing adventure for me!! Happy you are on the open road with Large Marge!! See you tomorrow!!!
I think Adam needs a keurig. Wake up in the morning and have your cup of coffee without having to find a Dunkin Donuts.
I actually like the simplicity and taste of a dark roast made in a French press.
Marc Moran I think he enjoys his routine of waking up and making his daily trip to DD.

I live in North Carolina & we still have movie rentals. There's a video rental named 'Family Video' about a mile on the same road I live on.
This video has so many memories I used to live in Dothan back when that tornado hit Enterprise that was such a sad and terrible time for the city prays for their families and loved ones

Another awesome video Adam
It is very awesome to see you so happy and having such fun. Keep it up :)
Some small towns have sirens for the time of the day. They have nothing to do with weather, they just make a noise to alert residents of the time.
totally cool----makes me want to travel----always a smile when watching these --see you tomorrow,,,,, !
I’m going to Vlog the boil weevil monument tomorrow so I decided to go back and find your episode on the daily Woo. Hey Adam my travels have taken me through some of those same places over the years. Fun seeing them on here. Safe travels my friend.
I love it when +adamthewoo puts pictures into the video when telling a past story.
With the addition of Large Marge, you're now taking us into even more mysterious little corners of the planet we've never seen before, and I'm loving every bit of it! Every day is a new adventure!

yes your videos are back to being excellent. And it seems like you have a new gust of energy and excitement. Love it

I sure hope we get to see more of the RV life. I am really interested in how that is working out!
awww, I used to work for movie gallery for about 6 years. best job I ever had! I worked there up until the closing.
Oh my god when you said "Hot!!!" made my morning. Received a new security job and all we drink is coffee
Heh - spent a few years as a site supervisor. If it weren't for coffee, there would be no security. :-)
Stay diligent and safe out there!
MrJest2 Thanks man. Might be going to Universal or Disney in a few months. Stay safe man.
Love the small town awesomeness! Journey on.....

I'm loving seeing all the back road goodies... all that and The Shining funnies, what more could we ask for?! Thanks Adam :~)
Nice, a new chapter. Great VLOG.
Adam I love your new haircut it's awesome and your vids as well. Keep up the great adventures 👍🏻
Loved the Shining humor. It was fitting because I just watched the Shining. Take care and safe travels!
