Seems like youtube algorithm is spot on. I and my colleague had been on waiting list with Haaga helia. Didn't expect an offer as it was already way past admission period. However an offer did come for us both just this past Friday. The timeline is so stiff, but they provided an option of online studies for first semester. I'm still trying to decide if to pursue and if so how to maneuver.

@@maham1447 it depends on your situation. If you’ve already started on the visa application, yes you should contact migri. If you’ve not started, you can wait until it’s a few months to the resumption date to apply or you can still apply but do not forget to let migri know. You can still get your permit while you wait in your home country for the resumption day or you can travel to Finland and wait there which would also give you an opportunity to look for jobs before the start of school.
      I hope this helps.☺️
      I wish you the best

There are rolling and ongoing admissions, it all depends to which study program you apply to. Studyinfo is the tool for seeking what is available.
You don't necessarily have to wait for joint applications, there are also other admissions, depending on what you plan to study.

Many admissions to study programs in educational institutions in Finland take advantage of the Opintopolku/ Studieinfo/ Studyinfo service by the Finnish National Agency for Education. But there are also institutions and study program or course or training admissions, which don't use it. You need to look at the educational institutions own websites to learn about those other admissions.
Educational institutions choose different admissions processes depending on the nature of the education they are providing, the targeted student group for the education and other factors.

When you're asking about admissions to schools in Finland you need to remember that there are schools from preschool to post doctoral studies and life long learning in almost all fields of life.
You're asking such a generic question that answering becomes meaningless.
At the basic education level admissions involve mostly just contacting the local municipality for getting a study place for the child in some local school.
At the secondary level you need to choose and apply to get accepted.
