Town of Salem is a social deduction game similar to Among us and Goose Goose Duck. Among Us/Goose Goose Duck allows you to play the game with up to 4-15 players, Town of Salem allows up to 15 players in a single game.
Like Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, you can be good or evil with factions such as Town, Mafia and Neutrals. Among/Goose Goose Duck us has 2 roles (without mods), town of salem has 33 different characters in the base game. Town of Salem is a great alternative to Among Us/Goose Goose duck if you're looking for another game in the social deduction genre. Holy cow that first game the whole lobby was out to get you and not a single soul decided to use their abilities to kill you at night time just assuming someone else would do it. Jugg, Hex, Maf, Poisoner, and both Arsos all had chances to take you out. The only one who wasn't given a chance was the GF. Imagine if he got innod night day 2.
The fact that the GF immediately jumped out with a cover story for Mafioso was funny.
I loved how much influence he had over that game. I almost feel like if there was a course on escort that would be the textbook example.

I had a double maf game once, me (consort) and godfather. Someone found me as innocent night 1, so I kept rbing them, it was then 3v2v1 (whatever the fake sheriff was) and the gf tried to convince town to hang the fake sheriff, saying consort isnt sus, they got hung, I got promoted, arsonist murdered the town.

So basically, I claimed to be a Bodyguard on Day One and the following night I infect someone, claiming to have protected them when the Tracker gives his info about me to me in whispers. Bad idea, 10. So then the day continues, and 3 (The Doctor) asks to chain but I say no, obviously. And they say the next day that they'll heal me anyway, so I go along with it. And then, when the only person left for me to kill hasn't spoken once, I confront them in public chat and we lynch them, so I become Pestilence. Before the night, I whisper to the Doctor to heal 10 that night, as they're a Tracker. They agree, and, sure enough, the next day they're obliterated by Pestilence (I had visited the Tracker) - along with another person. I did that because if I had attacked 10 without telling 3 not to protect me that night, he would've visited me, and would've put in his will that he did, so everyone would vote me out. After the game shows that 3 and the other person had been obliterated, 10 thinks I'm Pestilence, and had apparently stayed home last night. So I convince him that I self vested because I was attacked, and he is easily convinced. So then it's the Janitor, the Mafioso, me (Pestilence) and the Tracker. So I tried to vote out the Mafioso, but they insisted on voting the Tracker - anything works, I win either way. So we lynch the Tracker and the Mafia take note of the fact that they fucked up big time. He wasn't Pestilence. So the night after that I absolutely decimate the last remaining people, the Mafioso visiting me and getting himself killed and the Janitor being torn apart by me. GG!
Appreciate it military here away from my family so this is really the only gift I got lol an hour and a half of my favorite tos player is pretty great

first game wasnt GF mafioso, it was GF and some other maf, and when GF died, they got promoted to mafioso. If it was GF maf start, once GF was hanged, Mafioso would promote to GF

The other day I got escort and maf didn't get a single kill that game. N1 they attacked the arsonist (I RBD jest n1 and got them lynched the next day). On N2, I found the GF and kept RBing them while town was finding other maf until they rage quit. Then I found the new mafioso and RBD them the same night the GF rage quit. The game went on until D5 or 6 without a single maf kill bc I was so tuned in that game. Best ToS game ever

thought trap prevents the action from getting to you. so triggered trap means arso left u without being doused
that only applies when you're attacked (e.g., a mafioso coming to attack). otherwise, a trap will be triggered to signify a visit without preventing the ability (if a trap is triggered by plaguebearer, for example, you'll still be infected and if a trap is triggered by arso you're still doused)

I think your biggest mistake in the jailor game was claiming to be poisoned, maf could have double killed you that night instead

Also for game 1, isn’t Consort the first to be promoted? With both GF and Mafioso dead, you wouldn’t be able to rb 10 because you would be promoted
