The true saviours of Altrincham and the reason why it is now one of the most thriving towns in the UK. Great documentary!
Fantastic work! Lovely to see what it takes to rise out of the ashes...literally
Very engaging and lively documentary - good use of montage and nice and busy editing!
A huge fan of Nick & Jen's work here, they've had a lot of my money over the years and it's great to see this brilliant tribute.
Nice promo.
Well done, although Altrincham isn't in Cheshire. Wrong award
From someone who is into the property world, I have to say Nick Johnson is a visionary. You can only reach this level of accomplishment when you are truly passionate about what you do. Here it was the case: it was his town, his area of expertise, his passion, his vision, and very importantly, he had support/backing from public bodies to deliver it. To dig deep into the history of the town, see what was the reason for its initial existence, see what set it apart from neighbouring towns, identify its core identity and competitive advantage, to then conceive a regeneration plan that revolved around people and experience combining historical preservation and modern adaptation. A managed chaos where its main advantages/strenghts sit around its disadvantages/limitations in a way that makes the place unique, not easily reproduceable somewhere else. This man is a real-life hero who changed Manchester. Thank you for everything you did! You are an inspiration to me.
