How'about gathering coins, of 3, until the 3 are used up to get another 3, (or whatever it could be), are used for defense against attacks (gathering coins in skill areas, perhaps)? There should certain turns, where immunity to attacks, are in place, or/and designated areas that it doesn't occur, where skill matters. I just don't get it. Maybe, also, you have no ability to attack players in higher places, who knows.
Mario Kart is a racing game with Party game chaos, a game where anyone can play and have at least a little chance to win despite this though, there is some skill expression to be had 1. You can get a guaranteed defense item if you have a coin in the first slot (which can be used as boo protection) Also if you have a defensive item in the first slot you'll have a 70% chance to get a coin in the second slot 2. Hey Thomas I disagree with MK8 being the best table top game on Switch. There are better games to experience in table top mode like Mario Party, Smash, Mario Tennis Aces, 1/2 Switch and especially 51 Club house games. I personally had the most fun playing theses games in table top modes with people. Mario tennis provides quick matches anyone can get into. 1/2 Switch is great for people who have never played on the console before. Everyone knows most games in clubhouse games no matter the age (it gives me game pigeon vibes from high school, which was a blast). And Mario party like you said in one of your vids has perfect randomness which I love. Mario Kart is fine on table top but its just better on the tv I will agree that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best switch game (especially when looking at how many copies were sold) but it would have done well on any system (other than the wii u lol). I also think mario 64 & N64 is a better console match than MK8D.
I dunno, Breath of the wild is the game for the switch,it made people nostalgic ,it was revolutionary and made for the switch ,it was,the game that made a new generation, the switch gen.
Sorry but i dont agree that mario kart 8 deluxe is the best switch game ever. Of course i dont own it but i play it one time on the wii and nooo. If i had to choose one i would say super mario odessy. But that is my opion
If you're looking for a game that "fits" the console well then it's 1 2 Switch! Why? Because that's LITERALLY what the game was designed for, using the switches potential. Or joycon garage, or Nintendo Labo, ect. Mario kart is hard to play in hand held, lags like crazy when you play with even just two players on your TV by the way, and overall doesn't fit the bill. The DLC graphics don't even match the older courses, so it looks more like a messy laggy downgrade if anything. The game isn't bad! But as I've been saying recently with almost every Nintendo product and game so far: "It's the absolute best and worst thing ever." It's fun and is quite literally the best, but it lags and is quite literally the worst. So I really don't think it's the best game on the switch, it's truly just a place-holder for Mario Kart 9. They're already working on the game, and just not saying anything yet because Mario Kart 8 is selling so we'll. That's it. No wonder the course's graphics suck, Nintendo isn't putting effort into it because the game is already a dead-game-walking. They want to release Mario Kart 9, but this game is doing so well there's literally no point. Think about it, Nintendo releases Mario Kart 9 right? All the Nintendo fans know about it! But what about the average families? They just assume Mario Kart 8 is the newest release until one day their mom finds Mario Kart 9 at their local Target and maybe picks it up. See? Nintendo can't kill a game that's making millions of $. The game sells like hot cakes on a Sunday because it's so simple and well known! Almost everyone knows about Mario Kart, and everyone expects to just pick it up and start racing. That's all Mario Kart 8 is now, a title to appeal to families. So no, this game IS NOT the best game on switch and never will be, this couldn't possibly be an opinion either considering it's competition - but no, this isn't the worst game on switch and isn't a bad game at all! It's just a place-holder for Mario Kart 9. If you do some research into it you'll find that's the case. So we can talk about it being a good game, but it was really made 8 years ago and lacks new or good content of any kind. Most tracks are pulled from Mario Kart Tour. Nintendo fans are basically just taking whatever Nintendo gives us at this point, which is fine. But we need to know where to draw the line TvT

If you look up the genuine CPU usage for it and frame rates and whatnot it'll show that it starts splitting in half once you add a third player, four players making it even worse.
