Lost Ember finally has a release date! We're really happy and excited (and also a bit nervous) to finally be able to tell you that July 19th is the day you all should mark red in your calendars :)
And on top of that we're finally able to confirm that Lost Ember will be released on Switch as well (although that will probably take a bit longer)!
Lost Ember lets you explore ancient ruins and forgotten memories as a wolf with the ability to possess any animal you meet to find out what happened to humankind and your trusted spirit companion in a past life.

time will tell if this is a great game. The looks are great but graphic is not everything to a game. In fact it is secondary.
@@Yetipfote It's a game about finding ancients lost civillisation playing as a lot of animals and discovering the beauties of nature, it can't get even better than this! 💗

I would rather have quality come with time than mediocrity come on demand. I'm alright with delayed launches (even if it is frustrating) if the end product is good. Can't wait for your game, Mooneye. :3

I can't believe its finally getting a release date! I found this game when looking for video game nature screenshots over 2 years ago. And I'm still super excited about its release!!
I didn't know about that game, but now it's near the top of my wishlist.
You got me when the wolf jumped off the cliff and turned into the bird.
If it's always as seemless, this will me an experience I'll enjoy thoroughly.

I have been waiting for this to come out forever. This game looks like a game I’ve had in my dreams before so I’m really excited for it to come out. Also, the song “all that you are” is my favorite song currently and it reminds me of my grandpa who passed away 2 years ago.
So excited! I’m so proud and happy for you all in the studio. Have fun though and don’t burn out.
Funny how the last few seconds before the logo managed to get goosebumps all over my skin and tears into my eyes.

Having been a kickstarter backer for about 3 years, this trailer makes me even more excited to get my hands on this!
I'm very interested in the game mechanics if it's fun and interesting. I pre-ordered the game because of the metamorphose idea (which implies many many amazing game play possibilities) and the beautiful looks. I wonder if you could, through practice, develop an high game play flow, using all these mechanics. A necessity to precise and quick timing and chaining of commands while also allowing to overcome challenges in a peaceful and relaxed way (if you want to just chill out and enjoy the graphics) would be awesome.

So much of the gaming world is dominated by shooter RPGs. It's like a breath of fresh air when a creator makes a game like this. 💙
This is pretty nostalgic for me. I used to play nothing but animal games. I didn't care if a game was 10/10- If I couldn't play as an animal, I was not interested.
I was recommended this game by a video, and it looked awesome. I was super excited for it.
But after a bit, I started caring less about that stuff and bought the big games. Zelda, Assassin's Creed, etc. Completely forgot all about this.
But looking at it now makes me happy. It looks like a truly incredible game. I'll be sure to pick it up. Thank you guys.

Ever since I was little, I wanted to play a game where I got to play as a wolf and maybe other animals, and I’m glad I’m finally going to be able to play one that is very beautiful. Hopefully I can find that small piece of innocent happy when I play this masterpiece 💙👌🏼

Thank you Sinikka and the rest of the Mooneye Studio, for taking your time in a world where overpriced pre-pre-alphas are an actual thing. I backed in the early days of the Kickstarter campaign, and did not foresee that Lost Ember would be so long underway. But am I glad it was! It looks amazing and I cannot wait to experience the world you guys have created.

I saw lost ember 2 years ago on gamescom. Since then its on my list. Im glad that you finally made it.
I have been waiting for this game for the past year and a half, constantly checking up and supporting the creators while it was in progress. Seeing the release date being Spring 2019 for a while now has been exciting and now the final release date is set. Thank you to the creators for choosing quality as a big priority so that this game is something I can enjoy when it's released! I'm sure it will be fun and can't wait!

God this game looks absolutely beautiful. The diverse scenery, the music, the smooth animations of the animals, it all really helps set the tone and create that feeling of wonder and a little bit of trepidation.
It almost reminds me of the feeling you get while playing Seasons After Fall, and Rime, although its got its own uniqueness to it.
Anyway I figure thats enough gushing about this for now, I’m super excited to play this when it comes out!

I WAITED SO LONG! And it's finally coming out! I'm getting it on the Switch and it looks worth it.
There is something about this game that reminds me of the other one that came out a while ago.. The one that is a multiplayer, you go through lands as an animal, and change animals/unlock them through stones. At least, the graphics/style/rendering really remind me of it!
But I really LIKE it for that. This is a style I enjoy and the game’s description sounds so enchanting. I hope it will have loads of content, I love games that allow you to truly get lost for loads of hours in the world created.
