Don't forget the families that stand by these soldiers - heroes all... father of three sons two who went to war knowing full well... It's a hard thing to see a combat report n the news where your sons are stationed in Afghanistan.... and Baghdad - way, way outside of the wire.

Nobody, except a military family or Soldier-Sailor-Airmen, can understand the joy of homecoming. Deployments are a necessary fact of military life. The US has military commitments all over the world. There are those that respond to the call and give up a normal life. It is something that most Americans don't have to deal with. The tears, the anxiety, and heartache of separation. God Bless the families of those deployed for they keep the home front lights lit and give the soldiers, airmen, and sailors something to come home to.

We Served as Iraqi Interpreters with US troops during the American Awakening in Iraq 2003--2011... We risked our lives and our families... I was wounded many times, and saved American Soldiers lives in Baghdad.... And, Huh, No one even remembered us..... No one even welcomed us....
