I'm a navy wife and saw them in Atlanta while my husband was overseas, after the show i met Ivan and he noticed my dog tags asked if they were mine i responded, "no they are my husbands" He then stopped what he was doing pulled me to the side and gave me the biggest hug and thanked my husband for his service and thanked me for part in it as well, for standing by the man i love while he fights for this country he said it takes a strong woman to do what i do. He now has one of my husbands tags! LOve it!
As someone who has been to Iraq and Afghanistan as a soldier and as a contractor God bless these guys. There are not many people who love the military as much as Five finger death punch. And someone who has both been a fan and got to run their generators as a contractor. I'm blessed so thank you very much for the support of the veterans
If you're a veteran and reading this, Thank you for your service. As a kid, my older brothers best friend went overseas as a marine and lost his life just weeks before his tour was over. I was too young at the time to really understand, but as i grew up i realized he gave his life for this country, and he saved lives in the process. Every year on the day of his passing the whole entire neighborhood pays their respects to him.
This song reminds me of my father, who was in the Army for 8 years, he served two terms during the Vietnam War. He was a Staff Sergeant. Also his brother Harold was also a Marine and served during the same time as well. My dad was been having some health issues as of late and he had to have apart of his left leg, amputated just above the knee. My thanks and honor goes out to all those who serve.
I'm here today with a heavy heart. Saddened by the loss of our 13 servicemen in Kabul. I give a heartfelt thanks to all of our people fighting this war. My heart is with all the mother's father's wives siblings and children of those that fight and die for our freedom. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten!
My best friend went back in after the fall to rescue Americans left behind by this shit administration and he hasn’t returned. I’ll never forgive our leaders for that bullshit. I now have to console his wife and tell his kids what a great man he was. They will never know him they way I did. Yeah I’m still bitter.
You guys fucking rock!! Not that you have to but you go out of your way for our troops said a lot to most of us!! Keep on killing it guys!! My sister, nephews thanks you as we all do!!!
I wish I could meet this band and tell them how much they saved my life....I was in a bad way at the time this song came on the radio and I just sat there and cried and asked why me and I listened to this song....I know its not about being depressed or anything but it was just them that saved me and I couldn't thank them enough....now whenever im upset I listen to them and well I listen to them anyway lol
This band is one of the many reasons ive always wanted to join the military. They just motivated me to do what i always wanted. Proud to say as of 30.7.2019 i am apart of the US Army💪🏽🇺🇸
Before I joined the navy I never really listened to 5 finger death much but a few years later, I came to appreciate them because of what they do for the military, almost 7 years of service and i still listen to them
Collin Dury Everyone has tastes, and of course they aren't the best metal band ever. However, they're fucking awesome! Wouldn't put them in a top 10 or a top 20, but they deserve a top 30. The only modern metal band that might deserve to be in a top 10 is A7x
Collin Dury Haha, dude, you are SO fucking metal xD If you had like, shoulder lenght hair and a Pantera t-shirt on your G+ profile pic I would MAYBE listen to you, but you're a waste of time. So tell me, what's good metal? Nickleback? xD
The deep seeded message in this song brings tears to my eyes. The men and women who fought for the freedom of our countries. A lot of the them have lost the humanity that we take forgranted. Being in a warzone not knowing if your ever gonna come home to see your family, affects you on a deep mental level. This song brings that out. It brings tears to my eyes knowing how much support these guys have given our soldiers, our children, mothers and fathers. I will always appreciate that and never forget that. Sempi Fi
??you have an awesome feeling about this and thank them! Thanks so far that can try! To help with that you are a lot less interested if your team needs it or the price you want a little to do it will happen in your life as the other. You know the first one day. W redraw? The only one who
I am a pastor and I listen to FFDP. I love their loyalty to the troops. A lot of there videos/ music can resonate with a lot of people. Good Band... (may not agree with all the words used) I love their emotion behind the songs.
I served in the US Army, I noticed Five Finger Death Punch recently, this song hits home in more than one way. I served during Iraq Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom. I've seen alot. Five Finger Death Punch, thank you for writing songs for this country.
this band will always be my favorite. years down road and its 2022, my son at 14 is extremely talented and has the potential to strive. he practices every day when he gets home from school and picks up tunes at the drop of a melody that someone else is playing. hes only been at it for 2 years. its one of the few ways he's able to disconnect and shine. music is the best therapy
@@Mechanized2k You are the same man. Different, but the same. She has changed too. She had to live without you for all that time, never knowing if you would come back. She had to learn to operate as if you would never be there again. Keep that in mind when you deal with her. She truly doesn't need you, she knows that now, but if she's still with you, she wants to be. She just wants to know that you are in it. Show her every day that you are willing to do what needs to be done to make your relationship work. You made a vow to your country, you can make a vow to your family too. It might take some time, but you can get there as long as both of you are willing to put in the work.
I'm 12 this has been my favorite band for 3 years now and I one day hope to be a marine. My motivation has been not only this band but also my dad and his friends were or tried to be marines
I just love the songs you guys make. Not one person who hates this band can understand what these lyrics mean to so many military personnel who are out serving our country. You guys are inspirational, and I want to see y'all play live one day.
Even though I was airforce. I was pararescue. I seen my fair share of chaos. My buddy and me were deployed and we were singing this song before drop. Everyone began singing the song together..... I know this is depressing. Because he never made it home. But this song I played for his funeral and it makes me remember him in a good way. Man was twice the solider I was. I respect this band, because of their respect for the military. Plus their pits are fun
Thank you for your service! I wish I had the nerve to serve in active duty. Not even sure if I want to join the national guard. I'm sorry about your friend. I thank him for his service. And you and him will always be remembered as heroes!
Sorry for your loss sir. I too was AF but served as Security Forces. One tour in Iraq, saw some crazy things but never had to deal with what you have. May he rest in peace...
Im a father aged 57., that lost a daughter aged 20. I'm still here battling demons and life every day. Thank you FFDP for the music that gives me the strength to do that.😢
lol yes im southern, and like the flag, but no, not a racist, one of my real good freinds is a colored man, the flag isnt actually a racist symbole, it wasnt at least, then the people who did the kkk used it, thats how it became racist.
all im going to say, im so proud what the armed forces do and i want to say thnk u for ur service at any time of any war bc it takes a real man to lay ur life down for people u will never know and meet. my bro is and has been in the armed forces since 1998 ..
As a young black woman, this song moves me. Dont know much but the chorus but it brings tear to my eyes. Thank you to anyone who has served this country. I appreciate you
As a veteran I appreciate you you're the reason I got up and moved today. Appreciate the sentiment but can't really appreciate where what I've fought for has brought our country to.
Me and my bf served in Desert Storm and the state of the US today with illegal immigrants taking precedence over homeless veterans makes me absolutely sick
Roger Wissinger as a Veteran I absolutely love this band even if they didn't salute the Veterans but the fact that they do makes me love them even more!! And I can relate to Ivan because I've struggled with addiction but come back from the brink of death and I am now a full time college student in my last semester and graduate in May. I will have my associates degree and onto my career with a better future and my two beautiful children by my side!! Four to five years ago I would've never thought I'd be here saying this I thought I'd either be in a rehab still fighting and lost everything I hold dear or lost my life by now but yet here I am!!! To top it off in 2014 I lost my only Brother which could've set me off into another run which I did go downhill for a little bit but I was able to pick myself up quicker this time!! I'm sure my Brother was up there looking out for me!! It hasn't been easy but nothing worth doing, that's good is going to be easy so I keep fighting the good fight because as Ivan says "I'm Battle Born!"

The legacy of this band and the way me and probably couple million other people emotionally connect to this music just tell how this band will go down in history for centuries
I love how 5FDP makes time to talk to their fans during shows, and how they connect and interact with the audience. They are an amazing group of guys! I would see them live over and over again.
One of the guitarists from FFDP was recently shown on the History channel for the reality TV show: Counting Cars. It very well may be on UA-cam actually, you should look it up. I thought it was cool and I was impressed.
Lyrics: Once upon a time I swore I had a heart Long before the world I know Tore it all apart Once upon a time There was a part of me I shared Years before they took away The part of me that cared I've been a thousand places And shook a million hands I don't know where I'm going But I know just where I've been I've flown a million miles And I've rode so many more Everyday a castaway A vagabond battle born I'm battle born Once upon a time I had an open point of view But that was just so long ago Before I had a clue Was there such a time Where I didn't stand alone Was there ever a time And how would I have known Been a thousand places And shook a million hands I don't know where I'm going But I know just where I've been I've flown a million miles And I've rode so many more Everyday a castaway A vagabond battle born (Attention all passengers, Flight 555 now departing from Las Vegas to London. Always remember that when Tyranny and Oppression come to your doorstep, it will be dressed in a nice Uniform! Tyranny and Oppression would be powerless if the Police and the Military did not follow orders and enforce it. It should be obviously clear to everyone by now, that the Social Engineered, Group Think Psychological conditioning that has been cast upon America over the last 15 years, to love the Police and worship the Troops, has been done for a reason! History tells us that regardless of your adoration and worship of the Police and the Military, 99% of them will always follow their Orders! I know that most folks conditioning will prevent them from accepting that Historical truth and if your one of those people, just remember to thank the Police and Military for their "Service" when they deliver up more and more of the Tyranny and Oppression that their Political masters order them to carry out against you.
Absolutely love this song. The modern heavy metal version of Home Sweet Home. Whether you are a soldier traveling to protect your country, or a musician singing to your fans, the feelings are all the same.
Home Sweet Home in my opinion is one of the most iconic songs of all time. I share the sentiment of this song being a modern day version of it, and it's awesome. I'm not a huge 5FDP fan, but I love this song a lot.
I have a few years to live because of the disease. The family already knows that this will be my song at the end. I've never given up, I'll never give up. Champion and battle born until the end! Love everyone here and thanks FFDP for everything!
Look at how happy the crowd and the band are. How anyone can say "This type of music is violent" Is way beyond me Rock and Metal etc have been out for years and years and it has brought thousands of thousands of people together. Yeah I love my house music with a passion but I will always have some serious respect for the Rock stars and Metal Heads music is meant to be enjoyed not fought about. I love many genres of music but I always make sure Rock, Metal and House music come in my top few due to the roots of it all. Just hope there are many more people who understand you can like Dance music as well as Metal.
The music is "violent" the lyrics have serious meaning if you actually listen. I don't care for some of FFDP's work, because of the scremo effects, but damnit, BattleBorn, Remember Everything, and BadCompany... I could listen to them on repeat forever.
***** Exactly. Personally I like hardcore, metal, dubstep, 90's hiphop, Spanish guitar, classical... I listen to whatever suits my mood. I'm pretty sure the people who think up all the genre distinctions are the journalists who have to ensure their market stays well defined.
Benjamin MacDouglas Yes, some of the music is "violent," but this music is based on emotion, and do we not all, at some point in our lives, feel violent? This music is not to be blamed for the violence in the world, is it to be blamed for the LACK of violence. Let me expand on this...I know, that in my own life and my of the people I am close to, that in these lyrics and songs, I find comfort. I find hope. I find someone who understands what I'm going through and how I feel and that they have been there. That they have come out stronger and that if they can, so can I. That no matter what brings me down, there are people out there who I can relate to. People out there that embrace me for who I am. Knowing this has kept me from doing a lot of bad things. Things that I think about every single day, but don't act on, simply because of this music. This music does not cause violence, it quenches it. The violence enacted in these songs is a show of emotion and of over coming. It is not violence simply to be violent.
You are so very correct. Many people think oh heavy hard music bang bang bang lets all fight. But the lyrics do mean something. If people took time to listen properly then they too would see it is not all about violence but about coming together as one and uniting with your fellow brothers and sisters in a parade of celebration about life and music.
***** i could not agree more to that, and one thing i cannot stand is when they think just because i am a girl i am unable to listen to metal and rock.
Everything about this song is perfect. The guitar solo, the lyrics, the story behind it. Just everything! Everything is spot on. 5FDP FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD
I’m a guy from Canada who is finding an addiction and I watched one of your videos and you talked about people in recovery I thought it was amazing I hope you guys keep doing what you’re doing this covert thing sucks shit it’s keeping my man’s down but I hope I can get help
Same here just hoping some day soon I’ll find peace finally and get through this shit so my family doesn’t have to see me destroy myself any longer many of them don’t even have many years left and I don’t want the last moments I have to be fighting with eachother over my addiction
I gotta thank these guys for making music like this.they don't over make or synthesize the music, and they put a certain nostalgia to songs like this one, and I like that I can almost instantly recognize their songs because of that.
being born and raised in Las Vegas, moving across the country for a few years and coming back to Vegas, going so many places in my life and being only 18, this song touches my soul to the max. this song is my anthem
I remember back in the day when bands would do uso. These guys still do songs for the military. Shows you where their heart truly is. Thank you ffdp for your love and devotion. We all love you.
Everyone knows 5FDP for their aggressive sounding songs, but personally, it's their softer songs that really speak to me. They are where raw emotion really comes through.
SETHBOB424 That's a highly inappropriate comment. Even if that were true wouldn't that mean that you were calling FFDP gay also for making the softer sound? Think before you speak.
SETHBOB424 That may be true if someone is talking about Ratt or Poison or some shit like that. This is 5FDP. The song may be softer but its still got grit.
Michael Roberts Im a fan of FFDP, and also a fan of all kinds of 80's metal, everyone from twisted sister to ratt to wasp. Ballads, and slower songs are fantastic for the very reason that they give you a different perspective of a band and their sound. FFDP ballads are great because they always make you think and arent cheesy in any way, but rather very strong. love this song!! ps, ratt is one of few 80's bands never really wrote any "soft" songs;)
No, I'm not gay or feminine in any way. I love their heavy songs just as much as their softer songs. I enjoy the softer ones because I'm actually educated on the matters of what music is actually for, expressing your emotions. When you've resorted to calling someone gay or feminine because they don't have the exact same musical taste as you, then you know you have a sad life. For the few of you that actually defended me, I commend you for your intelligence.

Thank you so much for your service and your sacrifice. Living with PTSD is a living hell. I want to share with you, there is new research coming out that psychedelic mushrooms are helping veterans with PTSD!
I appreciate all our veterans, for fighting the battles that we could never even imagine and wouldn't even compare to our worst nightmare. Coming from a family of military, it takes a toll on not just those who serve but the families! Keep your head up!! Love you all
A song like this makes me fuckin proud! Because, I grew up with a grand father who was a proud Korean War para Trooper. ( who talked me out of enlisting when I really wanted to, because he knew the true horrors of war ) I know the song is about living the road as a musician, and also at the same time giving credit to the soldiers who live that life! The true batteborn! Thats why I love it so much, they melded both lifestyles together in a song beautifullly!
As did I only it was my Uncle he was awarded the Silver Star with Oak Leaf Cluster for gallantry which inspired me to join when I came of age. My uncle is now a retired Master Gunny and I did 8 yrs in the US Navy but the tradition continues with 1 of my sons in the Marines. I salute all who serve in whatever capacity.
I've now been out of the U.S. Army for 3 years, I completed 5 years honorably. I wouldn't trade my experiences and the brothers and sisters I've met for anything in this world. I do miss it regularly.
327Rocket I have the a lot of respect for the military but it just wasn't my thing in the end even though as a kid all I ever wanted to be was in the special forces or a Seal. When I went to enlist in the Navy and talked to a recruiter I had to get my diploma or a GED at the time, I went home and had a long talk with my grand father and he pretty much told me he was behind me all the way but really didn't want me to go and told me a lot of things that ultimately helped change my mind. I still always wonder "what if" but I am fine where I am in life now and would have never met my wife , so it didn't turn out too bad.
I went to their show and he yelled "any veterans out there" and lots of people screamed and he said into the mic "give them a big hug and thank them for what they have done ! And he started singing again and i was like "jaw dropped"
Omg they truly kick@$$!!!!!! So excited to see them in August. So sad he's retiring but sure sounds like they are putting on a kick@$$ show!!!!!! PLUS it sounds like Jason Hook will be in these concerts since all are retiring!!!!! OMG I cried when he left after his surgery but totally understand why. YOLO, enjoy life and family/friends 🙏🏽
I know this song is about our military but ive been listening to it more than usual right now cuz my best friend has breast cancer and it's kept me in the fight emotionally I'm gonna play it for her Monday at school hopefully she gets the message from this song STAY STRONG MICAYLA AND EVERYONE FIGHTING CANCER AND FIGHTING IN THE MILITARY!!!!! Our U.S. soldiers rule!! Though I have not flown a million miles I have shook a thousand hands. I've been a part of the thin blue line for 20 years now. Your music and support for this country are an inspiration for why I still do what I do. God bless our soldiers, police and YOU guys!!! 5FDP rules!!!
Thank you for doing what you do, police are very much made out to be evil in this day and it angers me! I’m a felon and it angers me the way police are portrayed nowadays! Thank you for what you do!
We met these guys in Las Vegas, they are truly unique. Amazing people, my son had 2 Skype sessions with Chris Kael. I'm a Marine Corps Veteran and they are thankful to all veterans. They are the best.
My gray beard 60 year old husband loves ffdp, took me and my 27 year old daughter to gig in Mountain View ca. I had to hold him back from the pit, it was a hair raising experience. He jumped for 3 hrs. Rock makes the world go around
I can relate to the lyrics they sing and one day I wish to go to a concert I've never been to one so I hope they are as awesome as I hear them right now .
Oh the hell do these artists write songs that exactly reflect what we are feeling and just seem to make it not matter in the space of a few minutes. Keep it up guys
Been a fucked up last two days and listening to ur music makes me feel not so alone with all these heartless assholes out here. U ROCK. thank u for the peace of mind ur music gives me. ❤️🔥
Im thinking about enlisting, Ive had a sense of patriotism ever sense i was little. I cant wait to join and fight next to my heroes, my brothers and sisters in arms! God bless you soldiers! 🇺🇸
It would be very difficult for me to think of any term that disgusted me more than those words uttered continuously in the presence of virtually any soldier in the United States: "Thank you for your service." What service is actually being praised by those conditioned to say these empty words? Why are they thanking and praising nearly every soldier they see? Is it because hatred of the U.S. is increasing, and new enemies are being created in the Middle East and all around the rest of the world? Is it because thousands and thousands of innocent people are being killed now in places like Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Libya, Syria, Yemen, and many more are being threatened? Is it because 20,000,000 to 30,000,000 foreigners, mostly innocent civilians, have died just since World War II due to U.S. interference and war? Is it because indefinite detention without due process, torture, assassination, and rendition are now common and accepted practices? Is it because suicide rates among American soldiers have increased 80% since the Iraq War began? Is it because mental problems now send more military personnel to the hospital than any other cause? Is it because destruction and separation of military families is rampant? Is it because civil liberties have all but disappeared due to so-called terrorism legislation? (terror legislation would be more accurate) Is it because of the creation of the USA PATRIOT Act, Military Commissions Act, NDAA, TSA, and Department of Homeland Security (DHS)? Is it because of the massive buildup of killer drones abroad and at home? Is it because the huge deficit spending to support multiple aggressive wars is causing economic chaos? Is it because of the surging number of double amputees of American soldiers? Is it because of increasing energy costs due to the United States unwarranted presence in the Middle East region? Is it because the domestic police have now become a brutal militarized force, bent on controlling the entire population? I could of course go on, but the picture is clear. Those who continue to believe the propaganda about all U.S. wars leading to the protection of freedom, and to our national security, are blinded by ignorance, and consumed by pathetic false patriotism. No U.S. wars have ever served the purpose of freedom; they have only served to destroy it. Due to these wars of aggression and occupation, our freedoms are virtually non-existent today. We are spied upon, tracked, searched without warrant, sexually assaulted, and radiated. There are now checkpoints in many parts of the country where it is demanded that we "show our papers," and killer spy drones are filling our skies. Government agents and the military are patrolling all U.S. borders, and Blackhawk war helicopters sporting heavily armed soldiers hanging on tethers are flying over our cities. Because of these wars, the government has gained enormous power, and continues its assault on liberty. A police state environment has taken hold, and if not curbed soon, will lead to Martial Law in the near future. The DHS has purchased enough killing ammunition to murder more than twice the population, and on the say so of one man, Americans can and are being assassinated. Why? In order for our national security to be defended, we first have to be attacked. That has not happened. In order to protect freedom here at home, all foreign wars must cease, and all the government agencies and "terrorism" legislation created since 9/11 should be abolished immediately! Every U.S. base on foreign soil should be closed, and every troop stationed in another country should come home and enter the private sector. At least that would be a good start. There is a reason that the young are sent as cannon fodder to die in the wars of the politicians, bankers, and corporations. They are less likely to challenge the orders they are given; orders meant to be obeyed regardless of the immoral nature of those demands, and regardless of the horrible consequences they will most certainly face. Those who "serve" do not serve the people who falsely praise them; they only serve one master, and that master is the nation state and its benefactors. It is not "we the people." Thank you for your service? Absolutely not! We can't afford any more of this kind of service!

Sometimes life gets really difficult, and hard to understand! Bless All of the Military and GOD Bless All of us!
This band is one of the many reasons ive always wanted to join the military. They just motivated me to do what i always wanted. Proud to say as of 30.7.2019 i am apart of the US Army💪🏽🇺🇸
Good great to have you aboard Battle.
Your my hero from the bottom of my heart!!b safe🤟
Nice
Ty for your servise
Before I joined the navy I never really listened to 5 finger death much but a few years later, I came to appreciate them because of what they do for the military, almost 7 years of service and i still listen to them
My granddaughter is 13 and love you see you guys in concert in the United States 🇺🇸. Me and here love your guys. 🎶 🎵
Thanks for your love and massive support towards my success and my music career, I really appreciate your efforts. You’re amazing 🙏❤️❤️🎤🎻🎶.
Oh god ... and I thought rock & metal was dying!
This band is hope :3
Collin Dury Then why would you like the comment lol
Collin Dury One of the best modern metal bands. I'd put them in a top 30 of all time also.
Collin Dury Everyone has tastes, and of course they aren't the best metal band ever. However, they're fucking awesome! Wouldn't put them in a top 10 or a top 20, but they deserve a top 30. The only modern metal band that might deserve to be in a top 10 is A7x
***** Not a fan of those, but still better than Nickleback ...
I liked Linkin Park's latest album :) Was very metal
Collin Dury Haha, dude, you are SO fucking metal xD
If you had like, shoulder lenght hair and a Pantera t-shirt on your G+ profile pic I would MAYBE listen to you, but you're a waste of time.
Sempi Fi
Scott Skeletor i love how you included women too since almost no one does even tho they indeed go to war too
I find it funny that skeletor is telling me about this songs message
Scott Skeletor Amen!!
May God truly bless you.
Scott Skeletor it's Semper Fi not sempi fi
Any veterans or anyone who has served or is serving...

??you have an awesome feeling about this and thank them! Thanks so far that can try! To help with that you are a lot less interested if your team needs it or the price you want a little to do it will happen in your life as the other. You know the first one day. W redraw?
The only one who
Five finger death punch is an awesome band hands down they put in a lot of work to get where they are at congrats guys for becoming a successful band
I am a pastor and I listen to FFDP. I love their loyalty to the troops. A lot of there videos/ music can resonate with a lot of people. Good Band... (may not agree with all the words used) I love their emotion behind the songs.
God bless you, Pastor Greg! :)
I don't care wether your a pastor or a Satanist everyone should love the devotion and love and care ffdp gives out to our soldiers in arms.
I served in the US Army, I noticed Five Finger Death Punch recently, this song hits home in more than one way. I served during Iraq Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom. I've seen alot. Five Finger Death Punch, thank you for writing songs for this country.
My first concert was 5FDP and when Ivan sang this song I cried 💕
they hit u right in the feelers dont they

their love for police officers and military warms my heart. Makes me so happy to see. These guys and Skillet.
Thanks for your love and massive support towards my success and my music career, I really appreciate your efforts. You’re amazing 🙏❤️❤️🎤🎻🎶
this band will always be my favorite. years down road and its 2022, my son at 14 is extremely talented and has the potential to strive. he practices every day when he gets home from school and picks up tunes at the drop of a melody that someone else is playing. hes only been at it for 2 years. its one of the few ways he's able to disconnect and shine. music is the best therapy
Not as good now that Spencer hook and bathiory are gone
Thanks for your love and massive support towards my success and my music career, I really appreciate your efforts. You’re amazing 🙏❤️❤️🎤🎻🎶
I dont understand how anyone can hate this band. Not only is their music great but the are huge on supporting our countries veterans.
I love these guys.
I love Five Finger Death Punch.💝
The only thing I can say is my wife hates who came home. I am still the same man who left just not the one who cam home.

Brilliant band. Great lyrics, great sound and most of their songs are written to support such deserving causes that often get overlooked.
FFDP always makes me feel so much better. Love this fucking band

Good Luck out there 👍

Good luck you can do it
Nothing beats trying just keep pushing you'll get there soon. I'm 15 I'm still waiting lol
I am sorry for your loss, sir.
Aim high, what Unit were you with??
Sorry for a lose like that
Thank you for your service!
Im so proud of catching Hook's pick in Amsterdam show :3
yeah i got one at Helsinki!
Im a father aged 57., that lost a daughter aged 20. I'm still here battling demons and life every day. Thank you FFDP for the music that gives me the strength to do that.😢

I'm so sorry for your loss. My son came home from his service. I cried some nights if he didn't call. I can't even begin to understand your loss.
So sorry for your loss 😢
words don't explain the awesomeness within this song
Um......Are you a confederate? If so, are you a raciest as well?
lol yes im southern, and like the flag, but no, not a racist, one of my real good freinds is a colored man, the flag isnt actually a racist symbole, it wasnt at least, then the people who did the kkk used it, thats how it became racist.

We dont need a color on the skin to feel this one, Just enjoy
Me and my bf served in Desert Storm and the state of the US today with illegal immigrants taking precedence over homeless veterans makes me absolutely sick
glad your touched but it doesn't matter if your black white green yellow or blue!! we still love you!!✌🏽
❤thank you
Best damn band in the land.
Their tribute to the vets made me cry.
I will forever love FFDP.
Roger Wissinger ..agree..awesome song
Roger Wissinger I agree

Lyrics:
Once upon a time
I swore I had a heart
Long before the world I know
Tore it all apart
Once upon a time
There was a part of me I shared
Years before they took away
The part of me that cared
I've been a thousand places
And shook a million hands
I don't know where I'm going
But I know just where I've been
I've flown a million miles
And I've rode so many more
Everyday a castaway
A vagabond battle born
I'm battle born
Once upon a time
I had an open point of view
But that was just so long ago
Before I had a clue
Was there such a time
Where I didn't stand alone
Was there ever a time
And how would I have known
Been a thousand places
And shook a million hands
I don't know where I'm going
But I know just where I've been
I've flown a million miles
And I've rode so many more
Everyday a castaway
A vagabond battle born
(Attention all passengers,
Flight 555 now departing from Las Vegas to London.

I've been a thousand places
And shook a million hands
I don't know where I'm going
But I know just where I've been
I've flown a million miles
And I've rode so many more
Everyday a castaway
A vagabond battle born
Been a thousand places
And shook a million hands
I don't know where I'm going
But I know just where I've been
I've flown a million miles
And I've rode so many more
Everyday a castaway
A vagabond battle born
I'm battle born
I'm battle born
Everyday a castaway
A vagabond battle born
Battle born
Always remember that when Tyranny and Oppression come to your doorstep, it will be dressed in a nice Uniform! Tyranny and Oppression would be powerless if the Police and the Military did not follow orders and enforce it.
It should be obviously clear to everyone by now, that the Social Engineered, Group Think Psychological conditioning that has been cast upon America over the last 15 years, to love the Police and worship the Troops, has been done for a reason!
History tells us that regardless of your adoration and worship of the Police and the Military, 99% of them will always follow their Orders! I know that most folks conditioning will prevent them from accepting that Historical truth and if your one of those people, just remember to thank the Police and Military for their "Service" when they deliver up more and more of the Tyranny and Oppression that their Political masters order them to carry out against you.
.
Thx dude 👍🏼
Wow just wow🤟🤙
Nice copy and paste buddy!
Make them years count 💪
I don't know you and will probably never meet you but peace be with you and yours
A champion who has to call himself one is no true champion
Benjamin MacDouglas
Yes, some of the music is "violent," but this music is based on emotion, and do we not all, at some point in our lives, feel violent?
A new generations' "Home Sweet Home"...Love it, and they nailed it...
Everything about this song is perfect. The guitar solo, the lyrics, the story behind it. Just everything! Everything is spot on. 5FDP FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

I gotta thank these guys for making music like this.they don't over make or synthesize the music, and they put a certain nostalgia to songs like this one, and I like that I can almost instantly recognize their songs because of that.

Hello, how are you doing? Pleasure to meet you here..
HolyDiver098 I like Ratt too haha

Well thank you Arctorius for your service.
So many of these songs have literally changed my life straight to and through sobriety we are not alone 😊😊😊
Saw this and had to comment and say i totally agree such a amazing song(:
As did I only it was my Uncle he was awarded the Silver Star with Oak Leaf Cluster for gallantry which inspired me to join when I came of age. My uncle is now a retired Master Gunny and I did 8 yrs in the US Navy but the tradition continues with 1 of my sons in the Marines. I salute all who serve in whatever capacity.
Marcus Anton I plan on joinin don't care what the cost
my dad did so did papa and I plan on serving till I retire
Gosh 5FDP speaks to my soul in every song they sing. They truely are amazing.
Orah
Orah
I went to their show and he yelled "any veterans out there" and lots of people screamed and he said into the mic "give them a big hug and thank them for what they have done ! And he started singing again and i was like "jaw dropped"

Im thinking about enlisting, Ive had a sense of patriotism ever sense i was little. I cant wait to join and fight next to my heroes, my brothers and sisters in arms! God bless you soldiers! 🇺🇸
It would be very difficult for me to think of any term that disgusted me more than those words uttered continuously in the presence of virtually any soldier in the United States: "Thank you for your service."
What service is actually being praised by those conditioned to say these empty words?
(terror legislation would be more accurate)
Is it because of the creation of the USA PATRIOT Act, Military Commissions Act, NDAA, TSA, and Department of Homeland Security (DHS)?
It is not "we the people."
Thank you for your service?
Absolutely not! We can't afford any more of this kind of service!
I don't usually listen to this kind of music, but the Other Side of Heaven really got me. Music should touch your soul, and this does!
This band plays awesome rock. But don't get into a street fight with them. Especially Ivan.
Check out the band ghost.
Metal is back!
And this is Metal?
As the fan before me lost there child we too lost our daughter due too a trajjic car wreck. I was so lost in grief and disbelief, i too started down at the end of the barrel. It was through my faith did i find connection again and this so is on the money. I swimmed through addiction to sobriety and today i can look in the mirror again and i am revived. Thanx ,shinedown you rock
