    Carlos, would like to say THANK YOU 🙏! ! ! My 2007 Hyundai Tucson 2.7 liter had a crack in the radiator. I normally would have just taken it to the shop and be done with it. Let them deal with it and then pay whatever they wanted to get it fixed. But after watching your video , I thought I can do this.. I bought the part from my local auto parts store put your video on my iPad and looped it... after taking the radiator out , I found out the radiator I ordered was the wrong one! Make sure to order the radiator with MANUAL A/C .... my bad, but after a quick trip back to my local auto parts store to remedy the situation I got back at it. It took me half of my Sunday to assemble everything together. I added a half and half of antifreeze, burped her, ran the heater and a/c , drove the car up and down the roads for 30 mins and she stayed cooler then ever before. Thanks Carlos! You the Man!

    Thanks buddy- really helped. The only problem I had was the two bolts that hold the AC condenser to the radiator were not accessible through the small body panels. But after removing the fan assembly and unbolting the radiator, both pushed back enough to get enough clearance for a small socket to get at the two bolts and separate the the two. Thanks again.

    Nice video, will definitely come in handy! Since you spoke so much about the antifreeze, I’d add that you shouldn’t leave it around cause pets like to drink it. Keep covered:)

      @@carlosthemasteroftrades5070 replaced the radiator today a few things took a while to do but got it done.
      The vehicle is normal temp when parked and idling and the fan kicks on but when you go to drive it then it gets hot pretty fast. I am thinking i may have a stuck thermostat. Do you know where the Thermostat on a 2007 is located? i was thinking maybe on the engine side of the large lower or upper hoses maybe?
      The vehicle is an hour away and I have to go back tomorrow. Also do you know if i will have to get a new gasket?
      Thanks in advance :)

    Hey we have the same car but we have an issue that it get over heat it did twice and the car drain water but we didn’t find any holes the mechanic man said he found one hole but it seems likely it’s from company not a damaged hole no it’s like the car designed this way but till now we don’t know where the water comes out from do you have any idea could help ?

      Few theories here, depending on the location of where the water is dripping from:#1- If it looks like the front part of engine- it could be your water pump. Looks around belt, pullies, etc. #2 If it looks to be falling around the side of the engine, left or right, it could be a gasket or seal around the engine.#3 If the car is smoking at the tail pipe or has a sweet smell with some water coming out of tail pipe, you need a head gasket. Check your oil dip stick for gummy, slime like substance mixed oil and water. #4 Check front buttom heater hose coming from radiator to engine. That's your main feed into engine.#5 Check front top heater hose from engine to radiator. This is where your thermostat is located. Could be a bad thermostat or hose is damaged. #6 If it's in front of vehicle near or around or button of radiator. Then it's your radiator or connecting hoses or lines.
      #7 If you are overheating and no leaks or missing coolant. The system is stopped up : could be the thermostat not operating correctly. Your fans are not cooling effectively, Water pump not working. Soon and on.....

    Carlos, what's a rough estimate of how much it costs for this replacement?

    • @carlosthemasteroftrades5070
      @carlosthemasteroftrades5070  5 років тому +1

      Price for radiator can vary from $60.00 to $250.00 online aftermarket or original parts.. Usually about 2-4 hrs labor depending on vehicle. Add another $30 to $60 shop supplies,(coolant, hose clamps, etc.) Shop cost= $300- 700.

    • @carlosthemasteroftrades5070
      @carlosthemasteroftrades5070  5 років тому

      Replacing the radiator does not have anything to do with your a/c. Completely different system. The radiator keeps your engine, transmission (second coil at front) or even a 4wd from overheating. The only thing I can suggest, is that you check to see if maybe you mistakenly disconnected something electrical from the a/c system and now your a/c compressor is not cutting on. I have another video on a/c recharging. Check it out so you can see some of the components that have to do with your a/c. Let me know if I can help!

    • @andrdarovskih
      @andrdarovskih 3 роки тому

      what he calls transmission radiator is actually an ac condenser. i don't know how you can confuse them but the author of the video does confuse them. you disconnected the metal lines which go into this second radiator (ac condenser) and all freon got out. now you need to charge the ac.
