OMG MAN YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER i actually gave up on using obs for 2 years cause i keep lagging but this has fixed everything i get solid stable 240 fps now! you are big brain
out of all the videos i watched, this one fixed it for me yo. Thanks man!
THX, This took away almost all my lag issues with frames missed. Still some, but with this fix it's a big improvement for me. Gone from +8% lag to almost 0. :)
Another thing that I noticed, is that having Nvidia Broadcast running takes allot of extra resources, so if you don't really need it, try without it running in background.
Also in OBS settings > output, enable "rescale output" to the resolution you want to stream to be, even if you have "output (scaled) resolution" under video settings set to your desired stream quality.
THANK YOU SO MUCH. My frame dropped solved!
This helped me so much!
i've changed the value now and will come back after I stream once for an update. Ty!
Gonna try this hopefully it works I have been getting alot of dropped frames lately. Thanks for the info
thank you this work great video
helped alot, thanks
the "zippering" in your mic is an xlr cable issue thanks for the vid
This video fixed my issue but it wasn't what you were talking about, I didn't realize how much Wallpaper Engine used the GPU. I use 2 monitors so I assume that makes it even worse. It bounces from 30% - 50%. I guess I just can't use Wallpaper Engine anymore :(
Oh yeah wallpaper engine uses a lot of gpu. You should be lucky it doesn’t use CPU.
Trying this now, it honestly makes a lot of sense that this would work if you're using NVENC rendering. Fingers crossed!
bruh u awesome
For me all it did was increasing the "average time to render a frame" x30.
Every game runs smooth for me except apex legends while streaming i have render lag issue my game frames are 200 + fps using 240hz monitor, my pc specs AMD 5800x, 32GB RAM 3600hz, samsung evo SSD 1TB, Graphic Card 3070TI. The problem is I get render lag frame drops only when I stream apex tried to cap frame rate to 60fps for obs still didn't work any idea how to fix it ?
What’s your GPU usage when playing Apex while streaming? Normally render lag means it’s GPU overload. You have two options: Cap your framerate to 190-200fps or use x264 encoder.
@@RE30RN my GPU usage is 45% still the issue is there tried to cap frames to 144 FPS also lowered monitor refresh rate to 144HZ still not working the problem is only for apex I have no idea about it its weird other games are working very good even control with ray tracing is good no lag in OBS.
I've struggled with this since I started streaming. Tried nearly everything. I will update and let yall know if it works by tomorrow. fingers crossed.
I'm still having the issue, its less intense now and sometimes completely none existent, but I'm still skipping frames.
My partner who's a tech person recently got a new computer for me. So I'll be doing a test stream with my current settings soon.
Did that test stream, I've been swamped with college setup for the last two weeks. So far as long as I'm not torturing my poor computer, with Minecraft TNT cubes and entity cramming all seems good. Not great but it will do.
What gpu do you have?
@@RE30RN how are you using 100% of the gpu? I have a 3070 and can only get about 70% usage on apex
didnt work for me. please help
bro what?????? that actually work tf ?
6 minutes of complete bullshit lmao
this video did not work not good video
This fixed my issues on obs after 6 months of the encoding problem. Thank you so much !
