Happy new year Nathan... 11:53 if you decided to add min pump... just fill min pump tile with 200KG water and loop to surfboard so that you don't need any new liquid and it also act as a natural barrier for wind tunnel air to flow upper floor then you need to correct and adjust wind tunnel air flow path
Hey there! Nice to see u again, and happy new year!! I think someone below said it, but! Sweetles and Grubgrubs both tend that plant. Grubgrubs are drastically better at it, but they excrete mud instead of sucrose. So, idk, keep that in mind? U might need to build ur base around it. Another thing; if you’re not too choosy on ur dupes, I would advise against the buddy bud. You could end up w a dupe who suffers from allergies. That could be circumvented w a pharmacy that makes antihistamines (which may have a troublesome recipe.) I know that they require a blossom seed at the v least.) You’d have to build around w those things in mind. Separate quarters is also an option. Lastly, the pit below the surfboard is a good idea! It might mess with wind tunnel airflow a bit, since water will block that pit and concentrate the oxygen on the other side. You might wanna make another airflow tile right next to the pit. Either that, or schedule the surfboard to activate for a time, then the wind tunnel turns on after the surfboard turns off?
I have the steam for sauna in a loop. Gas pump doesn't have priority (via bridge) only the overflow from sauna and it worka great. Just remember that the pipes from pump into loop have to be radiant and have to be in steam room.
About the sauna, i would suggest either looping the pipes back to the steam room to prevent it from sitting in the pipes, or just make insulated pipes out of insulation. Also it looks like you are going to have water sitting inside pipes in the steam room when the automation disables the liquid vent, so unless you are going to swich those into insulation as well you might want to rework on that. And a heads up about the hot tub- it seems to be very finicky, on one hand you need for the water to be at least 37.7.C°, but on the other hand if the tub reaches 37.7C° it stops working (it doesnt take overheating damage, it just refuse to work, like a steam turbin that reaches 100C°) so basicly you dont need the water to be at least 37.7C°, you need it to be *exactly* 37.7C°. i really dont know how to make the hot tub work, you might want to play around it in sandbox a bit
I have an idea for getting rid of idle dupes when you have them. Set up some auto-dispensers set to just a random material you have lying around and just have them dispense onto the ground next to them, the dupes will continuously pick up and put down the material. Disable manual use when they have better things to do.
Are you maybe ever going to to the factorio space exploration mod ? Would love to see you make a megabase in the over multiple planets love the videos keep it up !
16:45 this is not a hotel it is a white-collar prison. 17:24 you might have issues getting to the left water sieve. Your O2 might have an issue getting to the left side of the base, since you are just pumping it to the area of the bedrooms.
