For those asking - the modules that I use most on my own account are Last Stand, Balanced Unit, Anticontrol, Overdrive and Nuclear Amplifier. There are cases where I do use things like Cloaking Unit or Thermonuclear Reactor but those tend to be very specific builds which I have gone into detail with in this video. I was hoping you might be able to get the damage : damage chip into the gold for the view of it's possible effects just found my second (T2/blue) last night but knowing I'll need to find 50 to make one gold and finding one a week. You can actually do both but I would focus on maybe modules moreso than pilots. With pilots when it comes to upgrading I would use the Pilot Upgrade Events we get often to cut down on gold costs. Modules are better in the long run as they can be applied to any robot (whereas with pilots it's usually specific to just one robot). Hope this makes sense.

I think some players stack Last Stand thinking that if they have two of them it will activate twice which clearly isn't the case as you pointed out. It just activates earlier is all which is not when you need it most so it's actually detrimental to equip more than one really. I have last stand on all of my bots except one but it's by choice. I have a triple Scourge Ivory Ravana that I run 3x Overdrives on and it's pretty deadly. That bot also had good HP so it's worth the trade off. I used to run a Bulwark with 3x fortifiers and even today that thing is STILL a beast. It's in my hanger currently but now I run a Typhon with 2x Fortifiers and last stand. I also have the crazy electrician and energy shield expert pilot skills which I also ran on my Bulwark. Combined with the Persephone Drone it makes either bot a hard to kill set up!
lol yeah. I've seen a few players stack 3 of them on the same robot too. If only I was recording earlier when I decided to open up a Gold Chest in the Black Market. I scored a really good win and got the Balanced Unit.
Eh, I can grind that within 6-8 days. Just play FFA, get 3 place, deal 1.5 million damage and above and get 6+ kills then watch ads (not included VIP and sliver booster) you will be able to get it (that normally requires 10 matches at least)

@@AliTheGreatest-DnMe hmmm….5 million x 600 days = 3 billion sliver (just doing raw FFA with ad) with battle crate rewards, as i’m in expert 2 league, I can get 175k honor points in 2 weeks, and total you get around 15 million sliver form that, 15 x 2 (since 1 month has 4 weeks) within 1 month you already have enough sliver to upgrade 1 level (with sliver overdrive since upgrading moduels when sliver overdrive is a thing is more beneficial and you can easily skip waiting time, just watch 8 ads/1 level), combining with the method I talked about, 5 million x 30 = 150 million sliver, total 180 million sliver, nearly enough to upgrade with sliver overdrive going on If you wanna get max effectiveness just upgrade them moduels for your best robot, and prioritize last stand and nuclear amplifier, others…..you can leave them be, not too needed, unless you are running a tank robot. But yes, after all it’s very very expensive still. And note : I have a decent hanger not that mk2 hanger, just 4 slots with some decent stuff. Also getting module now had been easier due to black market update. Each day there’s a 20 keys 100k sliver and 10 gold for 2 ads, 1 black market season is 31 days, 20 x 30 = 600 keys, grinding with keys booster on should get you extra 1k keys within 1 month = 16 sliver chests, should be able to get 1module

Personally, I’m not sure I’d recommend a last stand to players climbing in master in all honesty. Last stand doesn’t really help much until its at a higher level, which, nevermind the gold, costs over a hundred million silver. I wouldn’t really say a fee extra seconds on a last stand is worth somebody leveling up their equipment when first entering master/champion. While it does help, it shouldn’t be a first priority. And even buying it, the resources would be better spent on pilots and pilot skills.
I disagree. When you face those strong players who make their way to your spawn, you might be equipped with the right weapons but without that Last Stand you won't be able to squeeze in all your damage before they take you out. Here's an example… let's say there is an MK3 player headed to your spawn and you have a Leech with Cryos that are MK1/12. You also have a Last Stand that is level 2. Yes they will get you down to your Last Stand but in that 1.5s or so where you aren't taking damage, it's enough time to unload all of your Cryos at them thereby maximizing your damage output for that game. IF you had decided to put that silver towards something like Heavy Armor Kit or Thermonuclear Reactor, one blast from their Shell could have wiped you out. The result? No damage with that robot.
@@adrianchong what about battle born. It's one I had won from the gold chest and in that situation I can see a benefit but have been hesitant to put it to use since it's an at first hit initiated module
I would also have to disagree. When I see it activate I now avoid it like it's an angry landlord. No point shooting unless your hunting a quicker reload and can only bring on damage you would have to wait to return much like a leech clung onto you. Better to just give it space and seek them out after a short time.

I rather spend those resources on Defensive Drone chips (at least with your Drone you can use resistance chips multiple times in a game whereas Battle Born you can't). I've just saved you probably about 150 mil silver. You can thank me later.

Adrian can you tell me which module should i buy for my typhon fortifier or thermonuclear.i run punisher setup on all of my robots since i started playing war robots the reason is because i didnt get a complete set of weapons from the new events and when i get at that time they get nerfed .
For Typhon I would get Fortifiers as it really helps with the survivability of that robot. Not only will the Fortifier help your shield regenerate faster it will give it more health which will allow you to survive better against Shell blasts. Hope this helps!
I have found the drone operations can be a sweet investment not only do you get a equipt drone but in addition you'll find yourself with a decent supply of even tokens
I have found using the newest weapons can have a great advantage to your builds. The punishers on the typhon is a sweet build. I would possibly work towards a nuclear amplifier/Fortier/Last stand. For the modules weapons for it I think was wasp or pulsars I want to say. Good luck and btw the fortifiers work very well on the shell too
That's a good question - I'm not 100% sure but I know if you had 3 at the same levels it will only trigger off once. What you've described is having it trigger at different intervals.
What about over drive units? I find them to make a huge difference. I never used last stand but I think I will start because of this video as well as an anti control
@@ssspectator2535 Get Last Stand. Mine are all at level 1 but they changed my gameplay so much that I can hold my own against many players. Damage modules aren’t necessary since you always have drones for additional damage sources
@@ssspectator2535 If you're in Gold League I would be looking at modules like Overdrive and Balanced Unit. Last Stand is important too BUT… in the lower leagues you need to try to ramp up your damage as much as possible and one way to do that is through modules. Doing more damage allows you to get more silver which you'll need for upgrading equipment. Hope this helps!
On my own personal account (the one with the [VØX] tag) yes. On my Baby Account I don't spend any on that as I don't play it enough to justify that expense.
I would wait for upgrade Overdrive Events - it's not 40 million then, it's 30 million I believe. Also while you might think it's expensive, depending on which module you're upgrading, it might have more value than upgrading a robot as modules can be moved to any robot in your hangar.
Modules are always meta...you can move them from bot to bot. I know they seem crazy expensive but they're worth it...especially as your bots and weapons are upgraded. I'm currently grinding silver for the next upgrade discount...purely for modules. You'd be amazed at the instant difference it makes when you take a module from level 1 to level 6.
Yeah that's a limitation with that platform - Pixonic would have definitely put ads there if they were allowed but I believe those are the terms of conditions for Steam. I believe the same applied to Facebook too but then that platform died - I think many of those players moved to Steam and MyGames.
Modules are stupid expensive. I have 3 last stands I dont use cause i cant pay 40k silver per level. 2 thermo nukes 1 is lvl 2. 1 max fortifier, 1 overdrive 1 anticontrol and 1 heavy armor. I have lots of lvl 4 nuke and 3 lvl 4 armor kit. 5 years of playing and my modules are mostly shite lol. At least I only spent $100 over 5 years.... ...
Problem is pixonic doesn’t give modules in events even though they are “available” to win. Plus, rewards are horrible. Spend money, spend money to get any of the good modules. Unless you want to waste hours a day playing this vs living a real life.
I've actually won several modules on my Baby Account. Not sure if you're familiar with that account but it's entirely free. I run quite a few Overdrive Units which I've won from events. I believe I picked up a few of those premium modules from the Black Market chest as well as I usually save up for 1000 keys.

If you are using 1 last stand and 1 anticontrol,the 3rd module should be stealth unit or maybe even battle born
Don't use Battle Born. I have probably saved you about 150 million silver or so by telling you this - you can thank me later.
I hope that pixonic reconsider the amount of silver to upgrade Modules, 40M or 30M at upgrade overdrive is too much.

Let say I have 5000 gold, which of the three modules should I get first? Anticontrol, Balanced Unit, or Last Stand.

@@ssspectator2535 Get Last Stand. Mine are all at level 1 but they changed my gameplay so much that I can hold my own against many players. Damage modules aren’t necessary since you always have drones for additional damage sources
@@ssspectator2535 If you're in Gold League I would be looking at modules like Overdrive and Balanced Unit. Last Stand is important too BUT… in the lower leagues you need to try to ramp up your damage as much as possible and one way to do that is through modules. Doing more damage allows you to get more silver which you'll need for upgrading equipment. Hope this helps!

Probably tankers if they are maxed out - I would report them if this is the case.
100% tankers try using lvl 3 equipment

I would wait for upgrade Overdrive Events - it's not 40 million then, it's 30 million I believe. Also while you might think it's expensive, depending on which module you're upgrading, it might have more value than upgrading a robot as modules can be moved to any robot in your hangar.

Modules are always meta...you can move them from bot to bot. I know they seem crazy expensive but they're worth it...especially as your bots and weapons are upgraded. I'm currently grinding silver for the next upgrade discount...purely for modules. You'd be amazed at the instant difference it makes when you take a module from level 1 to level 6.

Yeah that's a limitation with that platform - Pixonic would have definitely put ads there if they were allowed but I believe those are the terms of conditions for Steam. I believe the same applied to Facebook too but then that platform died - I think many of those players moved to Steam and MyGames.
Modules are stupid expensive. I have 3 last stands I dont use cause i cant pay 40k silver per level. 2 thermo nukes 1 is lvl 2. 1 max fortifier, 1 overdrive 1 anticontrol and 1 heavy armor. I have lots of lvl 4 nuke and 3 lvl 4 armor kit. 5 years of playing and my modules are mostly shite lol. At least I only spent $100 over 5 years.... ...

Problem is pixonic doesn’t give modules in events even though they are “available” to win. Plus, rewards are horrible. Spend money, spend money to get any of the good modules. Unless you want to waste hours a day playing this vs living a real life.
I've actually won several modules on my Baby Account. Not sure if you're familiar with that account but it's entirely free. I run quite a few Overdrive Units which I've won from events. I believe I picked up a few of those premium modules from the Black Market chest as well as I usually save up for 1000 keys.
@@adrianchong yes, I’m familiar with that account. You must have better luck. I also save to 1000 keys. I haven’t won a module in at least 9 months. I had to purchase a fortifier for my fenrir. Too expensive when they don’t give out very good battle rewards. A common complaint I read often
