alright, as a Bandori veteran and someone who reads event stories, these r my favorite ships with a little bit of explanation: - in number 1: CHISANON!!! Chisato and Kanon are both established to have crazy lives and problems with handling people, but it’s been shown that no matter what they can find comfort in one another and share an extremely positive/healthy relationship. I also think it doesn’t stifle their characters like some of their other ships do. I like Kaochisa but I feel like it’s caused some fans to treat Chisato like she’s just 1/2 of their favorite ship, when she is an extremely independently complex character. - Himarimi: this ship stems from their friendship over simping for Kaoru and I just think it would be cute if they ended up falling for each other instead. I actually have a fic planned out using this scenario. - Nanarui: 2 of the most neurodivergent coded bitches I’ve ever seen, what’s not to love. Nanarui is so interesting bc they have pretty different philosophies and personalities, but they defy expectations n end up sharing a lot of things in common and clearly have such a strong respect for each other. they have incredible chemistry and I love them dearly. - Masurokka is a massive comfort ship for me and I don’t think I need to explain how they’re basically canon lololol
As a hardcore tomohima fan, I also question why they haven’t been canon yet on a daily basis * patiently waiting for steampunk afterglow event to come to my server*
Does no one remember that event story where Kasumi and Hagumi were reminiscing over their memories of being childhood friends together? I guess the fact that I have never heard of anyone else except for me who ships it permeates the fact that the childhood friend never wins😂
