Kelly Dyer it was nice to see the boys finish themselves but if was Kathryn I would want to do both sides of the room so the other brother would not feel left out
I struggle with shaming and blaming myself. I leave my house a mess until I get frustrated and clean it all at once because I expected it to be perfect or I give up. But wether I'm in cleaning mode or not it makes me feel awful. I feel that I've failed in some way as a human being. But when you said that cleaning is an act of forgiveness... I needed that. Thank you. I think we all need to forgive ourselves for being human sometimes. Thank you for giving me permission to do that today.

I’ll be honest, This one made me cry. Forgiving yourself and then the boys taking the initiate to do the other side of the room. My heart! Thank you for continuing to show kindness and compassion in something that can be both mundane and terrifying.

@@LegallyBlondeCritic they show Bryson holding it, and with all of those toys and supplies, you know he's well taken care of. The lad's 13 and taking a personal finance class because he finished two other ones. I think he seems pretty responsible.
I do get your concern, I have seen too many sad lonely chinchillas, sugar gliders, rabbits, hamsters, rats, and birds who deserve much better but this one seems like the paragon among other average 13 year old chinchilla keepers

Your encouraging attitude has helped me so much over the last few years. I try to tackle a small area every other week or so. They get messed up again and I figure out better solutions for us rather than giving up. We live here, homeschool, and have pets, so it’s never perfect, but we can make little improvements. The "original" after and the "after" after looked so good. It's awesome these brothers showed initiative and worked together, so that Bryson's brother's side of the room could get a cool makeover too.
This zipper bed is great.
One thing that I found from personnal experience is that to have a bed pushed against a wall makes it much more difficult to do than if you can access it from three sides so, if you have enough space...

You know what Katherine, it's so true; that cleaning is an act of forgiveness. I realized this morning after cleaning tables and chairs and some appliances that I can't keep things perfect all the time and I need to forgive myself... And maybe teach some kiddos to clean after their messes, 😁. For the most part I'm learning that cleaning is very freeing and satisfying. Thank you for the video. The boys' room looks amazing!

I have had these struggles and would have been mortified for anyone to see it.(If I ever had a cleaning lady, which I never did, I am one of those people who would clean my whole house BEFORE, because the cleaning lady shouldn't think I was a slob!) Even now, if I have company, I clean EVERYTHING..down to my dresser drawers. I have issues, I know. But videos like yours help me..a lot! At least I know I'm not alone! Thank you again!

The organization in this particular setting is going to help me tremendously with my son's room. But I also really appreciate it for my twin girls's room! I am an adult, but can't tell myself GO CLEAN YOUR ROOM. I have to learn too. I keep your phrase of "anything done is good" in mind. For me, one task done takes off some scariness for the next task and I am sure will eventually lead to getting past being overwhelmed.

I wish I could give this video 10 thumbs up! Please keep making teen boy room makeovers. I have a 15 yr old and he struggles big time with throwing his clothing in the floor and never hanging up or putting it away in his drawers. He is also into legos and they have taken over his floor and table. I have difficulty coming up with affordable organizing system.

My partner and I have been depressed, stressed, and overwhelmed for the better part of the past year and or home hasn’t been looking great.
