Angus and Julia always gave off the impression that they had been pretty much inseparable since they were kids - an impression very much supported by the video for “Paper Aeroplane” although presumedly the kids aren’t supposed to be them - and that if they hadn’t become a folk-duo they’d go into business together in a craft shop in a quaint little seaside community. Virtually every photo of them together features Angus looking serious, his beard looking grizzly, his hands in his pockets, his face looking down, whilst Julia dances in a summer dress in the background. These photos almost always seem to be taken at sunset, after they’ve spent the day together having adventures, like the Famous Five. I don’t believe there is any brother/sister on the planet that is actually like this. It is too idyllic.

Remembering the time of my early 20’s and I had just got married and I thought that it was going to be forever. I’m in my mid-20’s, I guess my quarter life crisis was supposed to happen somehow… I just randomly remembered this song because I stumbled onto the memory of showing her my music for the first time in Highschool… Highschool sweethearts who don’t know each other anymore.. I still love her though, she was smart and beautiful..
There was this man in 2013 who I really liked and he showed me a link to the Disney shortfilm "Paperman" , And every time I hear this Song this and his lovelyness come to my mind with all of those beautiful memories.
julia probably has my fav female singer voice (in a chill/alt rock kinda setting), and angus is just her converted to a male singer, it's amazing. big jet plane just shows how much they've grown as artists in 5 years too.
